There is always one clown who comes into a soccer thread just to announce to everyone else he doesnt like the sport. Feel important now?
Important? For expressing an opinion? Not likely.

I do find this a humorous complaint coming from someone who feels the need to add his 2 cents every time Notre Dame is mentioned in any thread.

Does it hurt?

just ignore them

ManU has shown they can lose to crappy teams like West Ham and Bolton. it can always happen again.

I'm pretty excited about the match with AC Milan. Milan hasn't been doing that well in Serie A, but they seem to always play well in European competitions.

Why should I? I dont go bemoaning how terribly boring basketball is in every basketball thread, why do these yokels have any reason to post in soccer threads? It never, ever fails. Post a message about soccer in the sportszone, watch some scrub who feels he knows more than you about everything put your interests down.

Maybe Robin will be healthy for the AC match, but thats probably just a pipe dream.

Cesc vs Kaka is going to be absolutely amazing to watch.

I wish Gilberto would get his head together so he could mark either Kaka or Seedorf out of the tie.

i'm worried about senderos manning the back line. when does the Africa Cup end? hopefully toure will be back in time.

It will end as soon as the Ivory Coast go crashing out. Hopefully sooner, than later. We really would have been up a creek if Adebayor had willed Togo through the qualifying rounds.

Living in Oslo Norway i have to go with the local team Vålerenga (VIF) Norway is just a baby in European soccer :(

I used to follow Manchester United when i was younger mostly due to some of the players at the time. Solskjær was my favorite player growing up

It never fails, post a message about Notre Dame, get your opinion of the Golden Homers. Funny how message boards work.

Oh, and I never said I know more about soccer than anyone else. I answered the question about which foreign soccer team is my favorite.

Or how about when someone posts an article that mentions golf and NASCAR, then people go on pissing on the thread because golf and NASCAR are "pseudo-sports?" Yeah that never fails either.

Could you be more hypocritical?

Any of you guys see that the English Premier League are thinking of playing games overseas.

My guess is that they will likely go to the far east, where there is already a huge demand.

Interesting to see that they are now following the NFL's lead

"The Premier League's proposal mirrors moves in other sports, notably American Football.

Miami Dolphins and New York Giants met at Wembley in October, the first competitive NFL game outside the Americas. "Globalisation is a challenge for all sports because the whole world seems to be interested in the very best of sport wherever it comes from," added Scudamore.
