Favorite modern day rapper?

This takes out about 95% of the rap on America's radio. UK rap is getting way dope!

To me, this is WAY SICKER than the rap played on the radio here (with the exception of REAL hip-hop)

This whole post just cracks me up. Thank you for the good time.

BTW I have no idea if you're right and frankly I couldn't care less. It just struck me as hilarious either way.

Well, for one, I am on point with what I've been saying about Jay-Z being a Freemason loving sellout...

And two, you can laugh all the way to the concentration camp that's in your near future...

Back on topic, I see many around here mentioning Wu-Tang... Personally, I think outside of less than a handful of Wu Tang songs, they're pretty forgettable (C.R.E.A.M. and Triumph were tight).... And as solo artists, the members of Wu Tang have some good songs, but none should be mentioned among the best of the best... Also, the thread was best "rapper", not "rap group", or "rap duo"...

If we're talking best group or duo, I've got many that I would easily place ahead of Wu Tang, including UGK, the Geto Boys, Outkast, Bone Thugs, and of course NWA... Then again, most groups I've mentioned might not fall in the "modern day" category...

I agree corporate Hip-Hop is mostly crap nowadays, but the underground scene has some really good artist. Here a few to check out, and not really underground, but Deltron 3030 is one of my favorite albums all-time (si-fi ramp).

Atmosphere
Brother Ali
Q Unique
Aesop Rock
Immoral Technique
Cage
Copywrite
Eyedea & Abilities

Denim, you like that Stones Throw/Rhymesayers Hip-Hop huh? And I absolutely love Deltron 3030. Del is my man anyway. Along with the whole Heiro crew. Too bad a lot of their material as of late has just been ehhhh.

rash, Ima have to check these 2 out because Casual holds that title for me. That dude is a real problem. Always has been.

Chevy Chase isn't dead. Does that mean he is still considered a modern rapper? If so, I will go with Chevy. :)
