Wow that is a really hard question... I liked Dandy Don a lot! I liked Le Roy a lot. I liked Bullet Bob a lot. I liked Bob Lilly a lot. I liked Too Tall a lot. I guess too many to list really. I could keep this going for a long list though.
Off Topic. Is that your son's Purple Heart as your avatar?

THE RECORD THAT WILL NEVER BE BROKEN!:)

Thanks for the clip!

Look at Drew Pearson working his butt off to give TD every chance to go all the way. To me that is so typical of Pearson and exactly why he too is on my list. I loved that guy!

Sometimes I get the impression that we're completely different people.

Well the only ones I remember watching were Danny White and Too Tall. I was just a little tike, and my dad isn't nearly the Boys fan I am.

I remember thinking a QB who was also a punter was a little odd. And I just liked Jones's nickname.

I remember Steve Pelleur too, but come on.

I only wish the quality was better, but that was VHS and a long time ago.

We didn't even have a VCR back then. I remember we got our first one after I had started high school in 1984.

Roger Staubach was the player I respected the most. Watching Randy White in a pass rush was a bit like watching a feral animal attacking the LOS. Preston Pearson will always have a place in my heart because his versatility made Tom's shotgun hum.

Drew Pearson? Well, I was in the stadium the day Clint Longley had his couple quarters of fame. He took the ball for a win splitting a double team.

But the most electric player in the period from 1971 to 1989 was Tony D, no question about it.

David.

It was actually recorded by a friend of mine, but I'm not sure if he taped it during the live game or if he taped as a highlight years later, but it was VHS and a long time ago. I know that much.

a child of the 80's... I like a four way tie between Walls, Downs, Clinkscale, and if someone can name the other member of the secondary... that guy.

I was just saying we didn't get our first VCR til '84. We weren't on the cutting edge back then.
