Excellent choice! The words still come to mind on rare occasions, when circumstance warrant.

Loved the theme song. Could never wrap my head around the show's need for cartoonish 'Gotham' like sets and background. Even so, the show did showcase the most accurate display of a comic book superhero's powers and/or skills on the small screen in television history up to that point in time.

I was a fan of the show, but I never would have recognized the theme... maybe because I always hit the "skip intro" button.

I was a fan of the show, but I never would have recognized the theme... maybe because I always hit the "skip intro" button.

My wife ALWAYS skips over intros for Netflix shows. She is one of the most impatient people I have ever met. She kills me when we are watching something on Hulu and she gets irritated saying, "Where's the Skip Intro option?" She has a habit of skipping ahead during a show sometimes too--one reason why we do not watch many streaming shows together.

I am her opposite in some ways. I watch all shows from their start to the beginning of the credits, and usually enjoy watching the credits roll also. She really dislikes me and intros sometimes. "You have already seen the opening a million times. Give me the remote." I tell her to suffer the extra few seconds but I do get Leroy Jethro Gibbs slapped in the back of my head occasionally.

For example, I remember us going to The-Movie-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named-Outside-A-Certain-Thread and noticed her squirming in her seat every so often through some of the time traveling parts and whispered to her one time, "You cannot fast forward because the tv remote is at home.
