Is ' Double tap " considered the Part 2 sequel of Zombieland ?
Yes
Is ' Double tap " considered the Part 2 sequel of Zombieland ?
I keep imagining that late, legendary director/producer George Romero was the one that really started the Zombie mania,.. with Night of the Living Dead,..
but what/who really re-jump the Zombie mania up all over again ? ...... AMC's " The Walking Dead " show ?
Would not consider these the best zombie movies, I think everybody has pretty much covered that area.
However these might be a few that you have not seen that you might enjoy if you like Zombie movies and do not mind foreign and or b movies. Some of these you can also find on Youtube for free.
Juan of the Dead - Yes the name is a rip off but this is not a bad movie for the genre and like the real one it has some humor to it. It is in spanish but you can find it with subtitles and possibly dubbed.
I do believe you can find this free on youtube and possibly other streaming sites.
La Horde - This is like a mix between a zombie movie and the raid movie. It is a french movie IIRC and you should be able to find it free on youtube or others.
Return of the living dead three - This is definitely a B movie with some old school special effects. With that said it also has some cool ideas in it with the military doing things and the girl who figures out that self mutilation with the pain helps curve her desires.
Warm Bodies - Some will not like this. This is romeo and Juliet with zombies. However if you can get past the idea that is made for a younger audience and what it is doing you can enjoy it even if just for some of the different ideas it is doing in the plot.
Night of the Living Dorks - Another zombie comedy movie with Teens set in Germany.
This is the type of movie I would find on Youtube for free years ago before Youtube started cracking down on some films.
Dog House - English film. Not really zombies but close enough. Comedy movie that is pretty good. This you can find free on youtube.

Cockneys vs Zombies - Another english zombie comedy that is decent. The one scene with the old man and the walker trying to out run a zombie is worth watching alone...

Rammbock: Berlin Undead - German film. Only about an hour long. Rage virus movie that has a different idea of what starts it AND what can calm it down some. Just liked it as it was a slight difference.

#Alive - Korean movie. Similar to Warm Bodies in that the main two characters are young. These two live in apartment buildings across from each other and need to start working together to survive. Was on Netflix, not sure if it still is.
There is another movie called Alone that is pretty much the same exact movie but just an english version. Thought it was just a remake but also read it was just the same script? Bonus for Alone is that Donald Sutherland has a small role towards the end.
Either way they are worth a watch.

PontyPool I am sure many here have seen this but you never know. Kind of a different take where you don't see much of the action as the story is told by a DJ at the station. I think there is a different version of this movie as well but cannot remember the name...
