Noway the Vikes go into the SuperDome and beat the Saints. In fact, I think the Cardinals would roll them just as well.

This is going to be a tougher game than many Cowboys fans think. Vikings play on another level at home. I can see them putting up some points. Might come down to the 4th quarter and sadly a field goal may decide the outcome.

What level would that be??

SF: 27-24 a miracle catch after being dominated by a mediocre team
GB: 30-23 GB had injuries and division opponent
BAL: 33-31 Bal kicker shanks the game winning field goal
DET: 27-10 Det seriously
SEA: 35-9 Sea is terrible
CHI: 36-10 come on
CIN: solid win by the Vikings
NYG: Giants mailed it in after the Car @$$ whooping

Not sure I see a real impressive home wins by this Vikings team outside of GB and CIN. I also do get the hype around this team...wow they led the league in sacks against Shaun Hill, DET x 2, SEA, Cutler?? They went 12-4 and stunk it up against solid team. See the PIT, AZ, BAL games...

Compare their schedule and losses/wins to that of the Cowboys...

True then again Allen is not an OLB he is a DE who is not asked to drop back into coverage like Ware and Spencer. Allen is a very good pass rusher and it will be important that Flo control him, if Flo does have some problems then Dallas will have to use a TE and backs to chip him

...matter what type of position you play, in the end the field is still 100 yards long and 50 wide.

The area you are assigned by the scheme and the coordinator is the area you have to control.

With Allen Flo not only has to control him, but at times he has to invite his aggressiveness. Let him get penetration, but not too much.

Have him run himself out of the zone he has to protect where every so often one of our backs or a releasing TE can enter when Allen is vacating.

If we have Allen commit and the LB held up on play action I will take my chances of one of our TE/RBs against a DB pinching down to cover the play.

Fundamental theory of football run someone out of an area and flood your guys into the empty spots.

If all of a sudden Allen becomes a hesitant pass rusher because of the action behind his side of the field you have won that part of the strategy battle.

Honestly, I feel good about our chances, but I will not be shocked if the Vikings win. That is a very good football team.

I agree, this is such a non-story that it's stupid. Guarantees are meaningless in sports anyway and only fodder for the media. Every team is shocked when they lose, Florio trying to make a story out of nothing.
