What was Favre's excuse when Dallas defense punked him?

I don't remember any excuses other than Dallas played better.

Oh well, blowhard, drama queen or not, he's still had a career that most would envy! And Dallas still has to beat him and his team again if they take care of their business tomorrow.

Romo kneels down & prays to Favre every night before he goes to bed.

weather in chicago was ten times worse than what he faced today, people just need reasons to hate I guess.

Agreed. He was talking about the wind chill and the wind. It was simply snowing, and the Packers got the lead by the time it really started coming down.

i know this is difficult for some to grasp....but not all of us worship favre. many of us have listened to the adoring, fawning media shove him down our throats for years....and are weary of it, to say the least....

I agree with that, but that does not change the fact he is a great QB.

If someone does not like him fine, but do not ignore the obvious.

To Favre's credit, he's EARNED his stripes. Frankly-they're all overrated and get too much media exposure for our tastes(i.e. Angelina Jolie).

However-what REALLY gets me is all this media fawning over Donovan McFlabb. Not that he's overrated, which he is, but he's also a choker and a whiner whom Andy Reid treats as his adopted son, but nonetheless, when something bad happens, the media almost always labels him the victim.:banghead:

*sigh*.....why does someone always have to bring truth into a perfectly good argument?

boysboy....don't worry about it: mcnabb blitzed any legit chance for a championship, when he refused to extend an olive branch to t.o. (after 2004). some people screw themselves so hard; no one else has to lend a hand :)eek:)....

You really have NO idea how bad the weather was in Chicago if you diddnt experience it. That day was AWFUL.

Again-the Bears were without Lance Briggs, Tommie Harris, ?Darwin Walker?, and Nathan Vasher. Not to mention too Kyle "Noodle-Arm" Orton was starting.

Say all you want how Favre stunk it up, going into that game, it was THEIR's for the taking.

It was a rivalry game with 50 mile per hour winds in temperatures lower than freezing. Theirs for the taking? If you say so.

How's that different from weather in Green Bay? Last time I checked, both teams face the same conditions, and the Bears themselves don't face bad conditions like that even more than a little bit.

It was a division game, and they can go either way, but the Bears were seriously hurting, while GB was healthy. Favre and GB just stunk it up that day.

Didn't we win our last 2 games at that VERY windy Meadowlands? Frankly, a VERY tough place to play?

Again-No Tommie Harris, Darwin Walker, and one of their DEs = NO pass rush. No Lance Briggs, No Nathan Vasher, and Urlacher played with an arthritic back all season, which further crippled this crippled defense.

Again-why are you making excuses for the Packers?

BS Exactly! The Bears were without Lance Briggs, Tommie Harris, Nathan Vasher, and another one of their D starters, AND they were playing with NOODLE-ARM Kyle Orton, but they STILL managed but put up a ton of points.

Orton does not have a noodle arm.

As for this thread, Farve was stating that the windy conditions make it harder to play in than dealing with snow.

Some people apparently call it being a drama queen. The other 99% of the world calls it stating the obvious/making a factual statement.
