I was a fan as a draft target until I saw the OU game. He didn't have to deal with a lot of pressure his entire career because he always had the top OL in the country and a great running game. In the OU game he had to deal with a lot of pressure and a mix of coverages and he looked like a deer in headlights.
I think he may be an okay backup somewhere but I don't think he's a franchise guy. I think that is why a lot of folks peg him as a mid-round pick.
Of course...Aaron Rodgers looked like garbage in his last bowl game too and he turned out aight.

Rodgers ran a 4.6 40 and could throw the ball through brick wall.

Seeing a guy play well is important but if they lack measurables it is a real gamble.
McCarron appears to well below NFL standards in arm strength, quickness and foot speed.
Love his character but IMHO he is a clipboard holder then future head coach.

I stand corrected a news article on him called him out at 6'1" 225lbs

Lol nice try. The lightest he's been reported is 256lbs.

We already know you don't like teh ghey. You already made it readily apparent. Stop trying to hide your irrational hatred behind false measurables you made up.

Based on what I've seen and read, I would not take him in the 3rd.

After investigating, (sick and nothing else to do), he was 220lbs as a HS senior and looks like a few sites ran with that Day 1 as his College Sr weight without checking
