Has no pocket awareness, no mobility, okay if he throws to his first read, otherwise he is terrible. If he is your backup, your team is in very bad shape. We are in very bad shape at QB!

What he may not be able to overcome is the constant OL drive killing penalties. They've GOT to clean that up. I dont know if they will.

I like Cooper Rush playing because of the gameplan and the OC has to dial it back to a true run heavy approach. When Dak is out there KM wants to open up the offense too much instead of calling plays to protect his QB.

I also like that Cooper Rush reads the field well and takes his shots when its presented 1-on-1 on the outside. I looked for a improved offensive performance thru simplicity.

blueblood--- cannot argue with that.....the Wednesday Homerism broke through....after watching the game slow with some good film men who study so so deflated with Moore and MM and Dak too....he did not

have consistent good throws even when things went right.....we abandon run game and Zeke ..10-52...5.2 per carry....that can only open up pass game....so now i am back to Monday morning blues....i have to

put away this Homerism...but 50 years of watching silver and blue with that star especially being indoctrinated with Roger the Dodger and Drew Pearson and # 33 Tony.....Cowboy depression they say is one

think of it this way every game is one off , every season is one off. any given Sunday applies,

9 playoff teams lost game 1, NINE, out of 14 that should tell you something. remember Cinci O looked bad as well 7 sacks Burrows 5 TOs or was it 6? we are at home and maybe KM and MM learned something from game 1 and believe me the cinci OL is losing sleep over our pass rush. i believe the game will be similar to last game but this time if we hold the score under 20, i believe the offense can win this with maybe score from Turpin on STs ..

yes it will take a near perfect game but our D, ST and run game can carry this IF they stick with it dont get impatient and just pull together,, BTW the 10 penalty thing has to STOP! we did play one of the best defenses with the best DL in the business, so while cinci got a good D, they arent Tampa, so hopefully our OL is now prepared given game 1 opponent.

Dear Zoners----i know Sunday night just about killed us all....i thought i will never recover

but Jerry said ...he not down on Rush...and i thought..hey man who knows Cooper Rush might pull a Romo

or a Dak or a Brady?...remember in Minnesota on Halloween night last year Cooper Rush throws over

325 yds and we leave with a beat-down....Plus Dak to me has not been same player since week 6

last year almost a year.....now Dak is getting injured a lot compared to his first 5 years in league..

Kellen Moore has to wake up smell the Folgers or get fired .....but i am not all the way down on

cowboys ...i am excited with Rush game 2...remember Rush had much better repoire with CeeDee

in that Minnesota game.....we all know we were so dumb to lose Cooper receiver and RT both

all-star potential....but even losing McGovern and Dak and Kearse....i believe in Fairnok and

curious when Gallup comes back this game, haven't heard a peep, so thinking game 3 100% hes back.

how about peters, why in the world does not bring him up and if Farniok struggles, insert peters at LG. this should be all hands on deck and why in the world would you not as team as coaching staff try everything, throw the kitchen sink at this game. a win against cinci missing 4 starters would springboard our confidence. this should be the the earliest must win game in years. to stat 1-1 even with dak was about all that was expected. most said 0-2 so hey lets rally and go steal this one. i remember a game where NO was what 10-0 and we were given zero chance to win and were having a bad year if memory serves me but we went and won that one. when we were 1-15 we beat an undefeated Washington team, i believe.

remember Garett TG game? last year Rush with MN , just remembering that i have seen some wins we should've never had when it looked all but lost.

as far as the season goes we started 3-5 in 18 and came back and won the division, got to 2nd round of the payoff beating settle. in similar fashion by game 8 dak, McGovern, gallup, Kearse, and Washington will ALL be back and just maybe be hungry enough to spark a late season rally.

32 teams maybe 16 quality starters so 16 others that might as well be backups , so what does that leave how many truly great BUPs are,
one available yearly and two are clearly going to not lose a beat and keep a team on track to be playoff team?

answer almost ZERO not many..

add that and our OL is hurting and we are short at WR another week..

you just have to roll with what you have and hope defense and STs along with strong run game can keep you in the race until the rest all come back.

Im not worried as much about Rush as i am MOORE coming up with weekly game plans to get the most out of our wepons. game 1 he failed, abandoned the run game and really didn't adjust or disguise palys that TB D recognizes from film.. basically, a really bad poker player.,.has too many TELLS..
MM must make sure this doesn't happen.. thats our only shot.
