I have to think that your listing is pretty accurate of their standing. Houston and Vasher get squeezed out While Turpin looks to have a solid, established role.
Hmmm.....given time, he could be McCarthy's Jordy Nelson.
Dak, Lamb, and MM have singled Houston out. Good sign he's a bit ahead of Vasher IMO.
Fehoko appears to be having a better camp than CeeDee who by all accounts is not having as good a camp as he did last summer. This is pretty concerning because CeeDee is the receiver we’re going to be counting on the most.
Broncos didn't love him enough to take him with one of their two 5th-round picks - nos. 152 and 164 overall. (Denver selected two safeties.) Dallas picked Fehoko a few spots later at 179.I was watching the Hall of Fame game last year between the Cowboys and Steelers. The announcers were interviewing the hall of famers during the game. During their interview with John Lynch, Fehoko made a play and Lynch commented that the 49ers were high on Fehoko during the draft. They loved his size/speed combo.
My guess is that CD has reached that point in his development when training camp and preseason bore the hell out of him. He may be a year early.. most guys wait until year 4 or 5 to get to that point but I strongly suspect when they start playing for reals CD will be fine. But I guess it does bear watching..
vasher may end up on PS another year. I don't think he is ready. he made on great catch, but he is inconsistent and only good for down in redzone, and not the only option down there.Hmmm.....given time, he could be McCarthy's Jordy Nelson.

Really I haven’t heard he’s having bad camp where did you hear this? Now you’re right in saying less splash plays but I haven’t heard anything to alarm meFehoko appears to be having a better camp than CeeDee who by all accounts is not having as good a camp as he did last summer. Ya you’re not wrong who was it last year Wright? The year before it was the TE who’s no longer with team I can’t remember who that wasHow many Training Camp pre-Madonna's do we have every season only to see nothing fruitful once things are real? Getting hard to get overly-excited by anyone who has been on the team awhile and never done anything in games.

Ya kicker concerns meYep, Fools Gold type stuff. I like to hear about players doing well or not but sometimes a player has a terrible camp and has an amazing season. Heck, who thought Kearse was going to be what he is and I can't remember hearing anything positive about him in the first camp?
You just never know and I take everything I hear from camp with a grain of salt. It usually doesn't end well believing one thing or another... now the kicker situation, that is another story. That's a proper thing to report about when a guy goes 4 for 11. hhaha

Isn't this only Simi's second year? How many Training Camp pre-Madonna's do we have every season only to see nothing fruitful once things are real? Getting hard to get overly-excited by anyone who has been on the team awhile and never done anything in games.
Did you miss the multiple TD day CeeDee had today or what
They put him back in the slot today and he looked better @CowboyRoyNicki Eatman just reported it on Talkin Cowboys today. He didn’t come right out and say he’s having a bad camp but it’s obvious by his comments that CeeDee hasn’t looked great. Dave Helman dropped by and said CeeDee hasn’t looked as good as he did last year in camp. There’s a thread on the board talking about his drops in training camp. Considering he has a bigger role this season it is concerning. He’s going to be our go to receiver and needs to step up.
Maybe Nick Eatman missed it because he’s the one reporting that CeeDee hasn’t looked that great. Dave Helman echoed his opinion. CeeDee may have had a good day today but the reviews on his overall camp performance haven’t been great. I believe even Bryan Broaddus said something about CeeDee not lighting it up in camp like he did last summer.
