Felix Jones Injury **MERGE**

Jones needs to chew on rocks and spit nails....

Seriously though, Felix needs end that injury bug streak!

ok, i like felix jones, so lets get that out of the way
but like every time we have needed him now, he gets some nagging injury

felix is starting to remind me of thurman thomas, when you need him in important games, felix gets nicked up

what do you think?

Still early to say injury prone, but he needs to stay on the field.

If he doesnt learn how to block better it isnt going to matter, he wont see the field.

this clearly needed its own thread, I mean nobody else would have thought to start this already...

oh wait, there's only 30 or so posts about it in another thread or two.

i believe what i see and i see a RB who limps off the field about every 20 carries......

They just need coaching and experience. They'll learn.

I'm still not ready to say Felix is injury prone. Here is what he did in college.

38 games.
387 carries
2954 yards.
Plus another 39 catches and 64 kickoffs.

I cant see any mention of him missing time with injuries. That is a lot of touches without getting injured.

We wont know until time passes. But i am not yet ready to label him.

I prefer to just keep thinking about how every time he touches the ball how exciting it is.

thank you for this post. Obviously the NFL is a lot tougher. Lets hope its just an aberration. But I do think we should be cautious with him until he's broken in. err gets used to the NFL.

Barber is still the man cause Felix and Choice are good backs, apparently you need to have 3 cause someone is always hurt in this group

well I hope he is ok.

But tonight was a clinic on why he doesnt play on third down. He is an awful blocker, he looks like he has no idea what is going on. I thought he was going to get romo killed.

I hope he is ok, because with the ball in his hands he is absolutely sensational.

Norm Hitzges said Felix has been fitted for a knee brace. Sorry if this was already mentioned. I didn't read the whole thread yet.

A knee brace???

He got jacked up that bad tonight???

Dam it Felix, you got to start wearing thicker pads or something dude.

Uh yeah.

I can't believe he actually got hurt.

But when we can keep him in the game he is electric. Absolutely E LECT TRIC

I can :(

Hopefully it's not to serious we haven't had a back this explosive since Dorsett

I feel the same way. He takes your breath away with almost every touch. I keep thinking wow I'm glad we got this guy and I hope he stays healthy. Then boom, he's limping a little. It does seem too good to be true. Can't wait to hear the trainers say Felix is fine and will play against Denver.

The one hope we do have is they had him go in motion for Tashard when we ran the Wildcat for a gain of 10.

Meanwhile, McFadden, who was labeled injury prone before the draft has stayed relatively healthy but has done next to nothing. Odd how this stuff works out. :bang2:

Didn't Felix realize I put him in for an injured MB III in my Fantasy Football League? I don't know what he was thinking!

Has Felix lost a step due to the toe injury? Sure seems to me he is being caught from behind lately. Last year when he broke one he was gone angle or no angle. This year he seems to be getting stopped
