They were gonna cut him anyway, weren't they? When I think of Steeler football, Felix is certainly not the personification of that but maybe they'll find a use for him.

He was really underwhelming with the Eagles. I think they would have cut him.

They needed an extra water boy.

talk about a bust of a first rounder especially when we could of had ray rice, chris johnson or jamal charles.

Wonder if Tanner had played if the Steelers would have inquired? After drafting Randle and JJ words about Dunbar (Westbrook comparisions), I think those two guys are untouchable.

Pretty interesting when you thin of that draft where Mendenhall and Felix got drafted. Who would have though the Steelers would eventually end up with Jones.

That whole relationship with Felix was a strange one. Everyone could see the potential, the flashes of greatness (that one run around the end against Philthy for 70+yds had one of the best changes in direction I've ever seen, instant classic) and Felix was well-liked,,, but he never truly caught fire and I think he became complacent with his general popularity and the fact that the OL could be blamed for the lack of a running game.

Hated the F.Jones pick from day one, a change of pace back in the first round....soon to be out of football...

four problems with F.Jones, straight line player, made of glass, fumbles/can't catch ball, barely touched, falls down..

Probably waiting to see if we cut one.

The more important question is, does he count as a lost player when compensatory picks are handed out next year?

Who was it that used to so vociferously defend him?

And is he now trolling Steelers boards?

Ouch. I was on board with the pick when they made it. Of course, I really thought Julius Jones was going to be a star too. LOL.
