I re-watched this game after we picked FJ, but thanks for the recap. Also, during that game, on at least 3 occasions, Arkansas "pulled" DMac out of the game on 3rd and short and put in Felix to run the ball to get the tough yardage. As the video showed, they also chose Felix to run during the 2 point convergence. My point is, Felix was their "tough yardage" runner. He is not a scat-back. He's a complete running back that can run between the tackles and pick up the tough yardage when needed.

The expectation for Felix is pretty low on this board so he's chance of success is actually pretty good.

I hope he pans out.

you must only read the negatives then. There are quite a bit of people really high on him. Including me

I was impressed. LSU is almost an NFL defense. Hes perfect for what we need. Its like Iverson being traded to Denver and playing with Carmello. That would of been the same as taken Mendenhall with Barbar. Dont you think the Nuggets could had used a player like Andre Iguodala instead, whose a very good defender, can pass the basketball and is a phenomnal athlete. He averages 20 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assisit, 2 steals a game and one of the best defenders in the league. Thats what Jones is bringing to the team. Mendahall and Barbar will be like Iverson and Anthony, and look what happen to their team? This would be a perfect stat sheet for Jones:

8 carries 47 yards
3 catches 30 yards
3 kick returns for 90 yards
4 punt returns for 70 yards

I think you just defined "perfect complement".
