Felix Jones

T.O., Pacman, and TNew are all great players, but there's something different about Felix. I haven't seen a cowboy RB with a nose for running lanes likes Felix since #22 himself.

The thing that separates him from Emmitt is his speed. He is so quick around the corners it's ridiculous. I'm not saying he's the next Emmitt Smith, but man he's gonna be an exciting player.

I think about 3 superbowls and 16 thousand yards also seperates him from Emmitt.

I am a Felix fan and i love watching him play. However, lets not get too carried away and start calling him better than TO, Newman after only 3 games.... but he sure is exciting.

I believe Felix Jones will be the NFL offensive rookie of the year because of his role on the team. Jones is so versatile it's hard to dial in on him.

I'm just patiently waiting for him to get involved in the passing game more. Garrett, my patience is wearing thin.

i think he's our answer in the red zone

put MB3 and felix in there, defenses won't know what to do. with TO witten and bennett

We're 3-0 and our offense has been one of the best in the NFL.

I don't think Garrett's cares much about your patience.

Has Felix won over the folks that were against drafting him instead of Mendenhall and Johnson)? Dude has been pretty money so far.

I've been gladly eating crow since the first preseason game on this one. I didnt hate the Felix pick but I thought Mendenhall should have been our guy.

When I think explosive, I think speed. Neither Emmitt nor Irvin were known for their speed.

TO is explosive. Irvin was not. Irvin had much better hands though and was a much more physical receiver, but explosive? Not so much.

I mean, I don't think of Barber as explosive either. He doesn't have the speed to just disappear into the secondary and turn on the jets. He pounds people. Felix is explosive.

Huh?

I'm waiting for him to get more involved in the Running game. 3-4 carries a game is what a fullback can get....not a guy like Felix. Give him the ball more.

Sorry Barber, but there is nothing wrong with splitting carries. I don't care if you "earned" the spot last year or not....last year was just that....last year. Felix wasn't on this team last year.

Would love to see, at this point, Barber getting roughly 60% of the carries. Get Jones waaay more involved.

Damnit Aikbach, you stole my post AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! He's VERY much like TD. The shiftiness, the fluidity in the open field (looks like he's coasting by guys and they're backing up for crissakes) I don't know yet about the vision, because I haven't seen him enough, but I have a feeling he's got the TD peripheral vision too: he just looks.....special.

PS: I don't say these things after watching TD on tape: I grew up watching him at Pitt, and vividly remember his whole career with the Cowboys....now if Felix could just emulate that patented TD "spin" move in the hole......(kidding)
