Ferguson is going to be great

Now this is my opinion but there's just something about him that has me feeling that way. I believe that he was held back by Schultz and we are going to see him blossom into a top10 TE this season. He reminds me of Andrews in Baltimore.

I called it last year before he was even drafted. I was hoping the Cowboys would draft him. Once they did, it was just a matter of time before Jake Ferguson would start to blossom.

He's better than henderlongshot and that no-nothing guy we had. Sergeant Shultz, couldn't block for crap even though that was supposed to be one of his big compliments coming out of college.

Ferguson is from Wisconsin, where players are so well coached, they are generally better in the Pros than in College. I too lauded Ferguson last year.

Ferguson is the real deal at TE......should definitely be the starter this season with Schoon and Hendershot battling for TE2. The Cowboys will use lots of two TE sets so expect lots of PT for TE2 as well. But Fergie does have the talent to handle starter status.

I think he eventually be as good as Shultz as a receiver, but a far better in line blocker. I wouldn't forget about both Schoon & Hendershot as well.

I think Hendershot is so severely overrated. He’s a nice find as a UDFA but I don’t see him as a future starter.

You never know....but sheesh he simply hasn't even been given an opportunity to demonstrate any sort of trajectory toward greatness..

That is unless u just mean "great" as in a guy you like that can be a starter.

Mazi, overshown, Ferg, Deuce, etc have already shown more than enough (in TC and 1 pre-season game) in the pros that anyone who isn't already convinced they're a locks for multiple AllPro's is a hater.
