I think Ferguson is good enough but the entire offense is suffering from two things this year.

1. The offensive line is awful. I mean we have 1 offensive lineman with a PFF grade of 70 or more each week. The rest are awful. There is no running game, and Dak is getting pressured most drop backs.

2. Dak has regressed again this year. He admits his footwork has been off. He has been inaccurate too often. He makes too many bad decisions throwing into double coverage. He is not running enough - or he can't run, and his passes lack zip allowing defenders to recover and close on receivers. I have no idea what is wrong with him but he is much worse this year than I have seen him in a long time.

Dak can theoretically correct his issues. I don't think the offensive line can be corrected this year. Guyton needs a year a in the weight room. Beebe is still learning. Martin is washed up. Steele is never returning to his pre-injury form. I do think next year they should consider Guyton at RT, Tyler Smith at LT, Bass at LG and Hoffman, Richards, or a draft pick at RG.

Maybe if they had a better oline, he wouldn't be forced to help out on the edge or chip the edge rusher causing him to have to release into his route late. It all adds up to another waste of a guy's talent while playing for this team.
The oline has had a huge dropoff this year.

I wouldn't say the old line is awful it's just nowhere near what we've become accustomed to.
Martin is not Martin this year. Tyron is gone. Steele is playing with the same level of play that we excused as coming back from injury last year.
Guyton has been bad and BeeBe less than average.
Tyler is above average.
One good player two average one below average and the last well below average.
We have been used to a lot better.
