No. The alternative doesn't have to be "making crap up?". The team has a clear track record of downplaying injuries, just as they did in this case. Inevitably when we hear some vague excuse from the team that causes people to become concerned it may be a little more serious, the same people jump at the chance to be the white knight and try to convince others there is no need to be concerned because the team said so. Not sure how many times it takes at getting burned before others start taking these injury reports from the team with a grain of salt.As opposed to making crap up? You are right I don't know all I can go by is what the team says and the action they take. Right now they have had him not throwing to now easing him into throwing the ball those things we do know. If what the MRI is to be believed it showed there was no tear, there has been no talk of any procedures to be done. So if we are not to believe anything the organization says does that mean we are to believe and make up stories to fit out own narrative?
