jack youngblood called him a pansy.
Protecting an investment. And what better time to be precautious than when it doesn't matter for a vet?and there is a month before the start of the season. He was working out prior to this soreness so it is not as if he has been sitting on his butt the last year. Worst thing Cowboys could do is ignore it and do nothing, they have the chance with no scheduled game in the next month to give him some time. He is back to light throwing and I fully expect that to increase as we move forward. But just pretending like the soreness does not matter and continue to pressing it could lead to a bigger problem. Staff is being smart about this and fully understand the time frame they are working with.
Now how would I know that if the game hasn't even been played yet? That's not what I asked. I asked if Dak specifically does not play well are you going to use the "sore arm" or "rust" excuse? I didn't mention the defense or anything else. The defense could give up 30+ AND Dak play horrible also.
Even if we win and Dak plays horrible are you going to have something to blame it on?
Hey, stress yourself out over it. It's all on you.I'm not worried or concerned that Dak plays Week 1, but I 100% am worried and concerned that he will not be ready for Week 1.
I just can't get past the idea of him working out the kinks, soreness, and rust when the game start to count. If his arm is not sore and the rest cured it completely he still needs to work out that rust. The idea of him doing that in the real games just doesn't sit right with me.
It's simple, really. If Dak plays horrible. Hypothetically, I'm talking 200 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTS and we still win the game. So, other guys stepping up and the defense playing well. Do you blame his poor play on rust or a sore arm, or are you going to be able to properly evaluate his play without excuses? Now how would I know that if the game hasn't even been played yet?

Playing and playing well are totally different.I bet dollars to doughnuts that if it was the season. Dak would be taking an injection and playing.
folks have lost their minds over a week of early training camp.
I’ll wait until the game is over to make a judgement. I don’t do hypotheticals. It's simple, really. If Dak plays horrible. I know you don't care , Rocky. As long as Dak plays you'll be happy as a lark regardless of how he preforms.Hey, stress yourself out over it. It's all on you.
Why not just say you have the excuses on the ready? Why beat around the bush?I’ll wait until the game is over to make a judgement. I don’t do hypotheticals.
he's one of the mod's uncles. When they see him at family gatherings they go the other way. heck, his dog plays in the road hoping to get hit.So the member says something positive about Dak and you still belittle him by saying he has no common sense? For the life of me I do not understand why you are allowed to post in this group any longer seeing as how you are the obvious lightning rod that sets out to start crap.
You’d be wrong. Again. You say those lies to make yourself feel better. It’s sad you have to lie like that.I know you don't care , Rocky. As long as Dak plays you'll be happy as a lark regardless of how her preforms or not.
I bet if Gilbert plays Week 1 you won't even watch the game.
You'll look at the box score and MAYBE the highlights so you can discuss the game, but you're not watching your Dallas Prescotts without Dak playing. You’d be wrong. Again. You say those lies to make yourself feel better. It’s sad you have to lie like that.
You need to come up for some air.Why not just say you have the excuses on the ready? Why beat around the bush?
If you were confident in Dak he wouldn't need your excuses, Rocky.
Playing and playing well are totally different.
It's not about if he can go or not Week 1 because he'll play, but how much will his "rust" and "sore arm" affect the team?
MAYBE a "sore armed" and "rusty" Dak doesn't give us the best chance to win.
"HOW BOUT THEM PRESCOTTS" - Rockport after a Dak TD pass in a game where we are losing 35-7 with 8 mins left in the 4th quarter. You need to come up for some air.
and Danucci and Gilbert do!Playing and playing well are totally different.

Okay. So, if he doesn't play well then I can not expect none of those "rust" or "sore arm" excuses from you then?Yeah, well we will see when we get there. Considering the first game is still over 4 weeks away. It’s pretty early to be criticizing Dak for not playing well enough in that game. Lol
