I was able to watch the game on a stream (thank you to the people who suggested a few couple of streams for me in the other post.) And a few things came to mind:

I know this is the preseason but I didn't like the fact that the team didn't score until the end of the game. I was very surprised when Bailey (or whoever kicked the ball in the fist half I forgot) missed the kick as that was a pretty easy to make. Now I don't know if the field had anything to do with as it was the first time the Cowboys play there but still.

What I think is the big elephant in the room for that team for the moment is the backup QB because I honesty can't trust any of those QB Weeden especially to lead that team to points if Romo goes down. I thought Vaughn did decent and Showers did okay. I can bare with those two as QB because their young rookies (Or at least Showers is) so they grow and learn from there mistake like how Romo did and they got a lot of time in the NFL.

I heard Weeden had a concussion I don't know bad this is but if anything the backup QB situation is not looking good.

I thought the running backs despite not getting much yard did ok though I got to ask why is Randle not starting at RB. Granted I didn't see much of McFadden when he was with the Raiders but Randle been there for years and know the system better that McFadden. He young and show great potential when given the chance as seen when changing direction in that one play. The other running backs are good as well and all in all I'm more confident in the RB then the backup QBs.

Now with the negative out of the way then get to the positive

I thought the defense line looked amazing and really saw the difference between last season and now. Randy Gregory is a great help toward that defense line and the other players looked like they improved to me and looked like they give the QBs on 49ers trouble. I'm looking forward to the defense this season now that they can pressure the line and QB.

Although the Cowboys are 0-2 right now it's games like this as to why we have the preseason and considering the fact that there going back to their home is a good feeling seeing as the main starter are probably going to do some drives. Remember last season the Cowboys finished 0-4 in the preseason and got 12-4 in the regular season so I not to worried much.

We might want to throw in a couple of OT waiver wire victims and RBs as well.

He's clearly better than any backup QB we have.

Gregory, Smith, Gach, and Randle impressed. Weeden and Vaughn stink. Weeden is a Brown's cast off. An old one at that. That should say enough.

Why the heck are we taking Brown's castaways seriously? Do we make a move for Trent Richardson next?

I think we'll be fine. My concern is back up QB. I think I like Showers, but I'm not sure, aint seen enough of him. I know I am not totally enamored with Weeden and I have not seen anything from Vaughn to put a smile on my face. Hopefully we can pick up a QB as a good one will be cut (praying anyways). The Defense looks good, secondary looks to be the most improved unit of all on D. The Oline has not played together much at all so I am hoping that when they step on the field in Sept we are in great shape there. I am thinking were good at RB by virtue of the Oline being good. No worrys about Romo and the receivers.

Injuries and back up QB seem to be the key issues at this time. We have a ton of injuries but nothing major there and hopefully we can stay healthy all season, I'll admit I have not been keeping up with the team in the offseason as much as I have in the past due to life getting busy, but I think were ok for now on injuries. Just need to find a back up worth a star on his helmet.

I was impressed with Keith Smith a lot. He looked real good.

Gregory is going to be a stud. Coleman looked good as well.

I also though Randle and Gus looked good as well. You have to like Gus' toughness.

Cory White might be our best corner.

Outside of those guys we stink.

Gus? Gus Johnson played last night? Doesn't he have a separated shoulder?
