Blasphemy!

First, the tickets will be dirt cheap.

Second, nothing would be more fun than watching Brad Johnson mop up the field with his old team.

Third, if for no other reason, go to catch my "4th ANNUAL BEAT THE SKINS TAILGATE"

Besides if we win that game I win tickets to Fed Ex next year for the Cowboys game. I will be attending your tailgate if that happens.

I'm planning something special for the 5th Annual one next year... so you can't miss it!

This year, the game's on my b-day, so I'm gonna cook up something special for the occasion!

ok....sold.

maybe. If they're like cheap...AND good tickets. Now to decide on stubhub, ebay, or stadium scalpers. I guess if I fail on location I can just go to the Green Turtle.

Also - if you end up with any extras, and need to unload them, I have a job and money. And a healthy desire to see Tyson Thompson stompa a mudhole in the Commanders.

Aren't there several NFC teams now at 8-4? If any of them win their next four games, ending at 12-4, won't Dallas (or Green Bay) have to have a better finish to get the home field advantage?

Three teams with 8-4.

If we go 3-1, we'll have a HFA all throughout the NFC Playoff.

If we go 2-2, then Packers may get #1 seed, we'll have #2 seed at worst.

If we go 1-3, we may be playing in a wildcard game as the NFCE Champ if Bucs and Seahawks go 4-0.

ditto in 1996...we got to Washington with nothing to play for...Switzer rests everybody...the only difference here was we play the very next week vs Minnesota and blow them out at home, instead of having a bye week...injuries did us in vs Carolina the next week more than anything else

David

I remember that 96 game vs Washington, last game at RFK. Herschel Walker had a big game.

I'd go with scalpers if need be... although I'll keep you in mind if I get extras!

If you can't get in, you can stay with the truck and guard the beer!

I'm going to try to have Direct TV set up for the tailgate, so you can always watch the game from the parking lot! :laugh2:

Someone just has to pay up if we win and I am there.

The part in bold never happened. In 1989 the Cowboys did go 1-15. They did beat the Commanders for that 1 win with Steve Walsh at the helm. However, the Commanders were never 15-1. That year they were 10-6, 3rd in the NFC East and missed the playoffs.

Thanks for the clarification. When I read that the first thought was, "When the hell did the Skins go 15-1?" Only NFC team I can remember doing that are the Vikings and Niners.
