The time is now. Dak needs to be unleashed. His legs are his best weapon. Force teams to have a dedicated spy and watch things open up.
This. It's past time to let Dak be Dak. He's not a statue pocket QB.The time is now. Dak needs to be unleashed. His legs are his best weapon. Force teams to have a dedicated spy and watch things open up.
And we do indeed have a poor passing QB, unfortunately.
Dak is built like a tank so I’m not as worried about that. The worry comes in that he can’t keep doing that into his 30’s and he is not always going to be able to pick up a 3rd and 14 with his legs late in the 4th quarter. So he has got to improve his throwing on medium and long passes.
He may be built like Rosie O’Donnell but anyone’s head is subject to concussion.
Blah blah blah.
How do you know what will get it done in NO?
A TD is a TD. Stop pretending that you are the authority on winning and losing in the NFL.
We have now won 8 out of the last 9 games.
What the H are you going on about.
I have the same concern with winning with your QB's legs than his arm. It is not the way to make it successful in the NFL. That said, making crucial plays is the key to winning no matter how they are made.
You d have to be able to do both long term. Russell made tons of plays early on in his career with his legs and now he has developed into one of the bestdeep passers there is. Hopefully Dak can get better at that!
I agree with you on the concern part. I really like Dak as a competitor but his throwing leaves a lot to be desired, particularly the ball placement for receivers. Not sure what they showed on TV but receivers were visibly annoyed at least for the moment last night. The best example was when we were backed up to our own goal line and that pass was incomplete to Elliott. Had Dak just floated the ball over the defender with touch, there was a ton of real estate ahead for a big play for Zeke. You can't make a living as an offense having blown opportunities like that. As for New Orleans, we can beat them with ball control like we usually attempt to do. We have to get that going. Can't depend on the defense to have another monster game against a team that will most certainly adjust.
Dak pulled a me on that final td drive
If the defense plays the same? Yes it will.
I hope everyone keeps in mind that we just beat playoff Russell Wilson
Yeah, if we face NO, we are going to have to score more than 13 next time. We will have to get to the mid 20's

I couldn't have said it any better if I tried. We have an all around QB complete in every skill category. He is an unfinished work in progress but the work is fun to watch. Run or pass.. Just keep leading them forward. We got used to a guy who liked to pass and was a great passer . Now we have a Football Player at QB that likes to win and can run past the line of scrimmage and impose his will when necessary .
What I like about Dak is he dosent run when its not necessary . But when its WIN OR GO HOME Dak can buckle his chin strap and lay the wood, make team pay with the power he has as a runner .
I love the fact he takes the game in his hands and wont be denied .
We beat the Seahawks. Not Russell Wilson. And New Orleans averages 34 a game at home this year (even including a 14 point game while resting starters in Week 17)
Thats not even remotely close to what i said.So you think 24 points wins a game AT New Orleans, with them on an extra weeks rest?
Good luck with that. Talk about blah blah blah
You can't know. This is the NFL playoffs.Mid 20's won't get it done in New Orleans
It's the playoffs. In the playoffs there are 2 types of teams.....winners and losers. I want winners!!!! Dak obviously is playing to win.Dak really put his body on the line on those final two offensive plays before the kneel downs. On the 3rd and 14 run, you could see he took a hard shot to the knee that caused him to flip. On the touchdown sneak, he took hard shoulder to the head by Wagner which left a fluorescent mark on his helmet.
Without Dak making these plays, and the other run to the 1 yard line, we would not have won the game. But those shots really concern me. The team really needs to find a way to score in the red zone with Daks arm instead of his feet.
