He definitely is. If the Cowboys didn't take Elliott out in the second quarter of games I think he breaks this easily. If not for a couple runs being called back, I think he already has this.

Elliott is already 18th in Cowboys history in rushing yards without completing a single season. He is already 6th highest in single season rushing for the Cowboys. He has a very slim chance of breaking Murray's single season Cowboys record this year, but largely because he wasn't used nearly as much as Murray was in 2014.
