The team being sold is the only fix. What is it -- 4 defensive coordinators in 4 years. It is going to take a beat to pull it together.
No guru will fix this. Yes, show him the door. What a terrible terrible defensive game on all fronts.
Beyond terrible, it was atrocious.
Not a single adjustment.
They kept throwing in the flats for 10 yards on nearly every single play when they weren't running it down our throats.
Fire Parker first thing tomorrow.
Weird take considering the Giants had the 6th overall offense last year with a rookie QB most of the season, no Nabers most of the season and no Skattebo most of the season.Even the homer radio guys were shredding him and calling him clueless. It’s one game but I’d be willing to bet the Giants are a bottom of the league offense and Dallas made them look unstoppable. Needs to get fixed quick.
I don't mean disrespect but I think this comment was off base. Remember, the NFL level and college level football is like night and day. Quinn and Eberflus have years of calling an NFL Defense. This is Parker's first year. He has to start somewhere. The problem lies he doesn't have much of a supporting staff with experience that can help him. I have nothing against Parker being a Defensive Coordinator however I don't think he should have been hired by the Cowboys yet. If we had a solid Defense for him to learn from, then fine.... There would be no harm letting him learn on the job. But our Defense was beyond terrible last year and had too many pieces that needed to be fixed for this year.Lol, this was always a rebuild? How long does it take to rebuild? 35 years? Why aren't the Giants looking like a 'rebuild' with a new head coach? There was not a single positive from that defense tonight. When Quinn was here, at least you seen results immediately. This looks like Eberflus 2.0
Yep.More of the same----
Doesn't matter who the players are....Doesn't matter who the DC is......this franchise continues showing their defense can not stop the run and struggles in coverage.
My issue is that we have a short time frame with a loaded offense and this was supposed to be the year in which we bolstered the defense and madeca superbowl run. Id be fine with CP learning on the job if we were in rebuild mode and just evaluating guys and looking to rebuild for the future. However, we are in a small window where you have to take advantage. You need someone who can come in here and bring immediate results. Dak is older and Pickens may be too expensive to retain. Parker has to make huge strides soon. We cannot trot out an Eberflus 2.0 and hope he gets it in 3 years. Im open to giving him another game, but if we get this kind of performance the next few games, we could essily be 0 snd 3 and at that point, season overI don't mean disrespect but I think this comment was off base. This trash starts at the front office once again showing they don't know what they're doing. They think they're football guys when they are nothing more than water cooler experts that think they know it all.
What the hell happened from March through August? It's just game 1. Lots of learning still. CP needs to get the players communicating with each other. I expect reasonable progress throughout the season.
As predictable as a sunrise. If we had won the SB calls would be coming down as well. What a terrible terrible defensive game on all fronts.

From your view the offense was the bigger problem? Bad first play call and first drive, sure. But if Perkins doesn’t drop that one the game and the offensive success is much better.
Obviously its the players at this point
This D sucks at Zone D. The flats have always been a weakness as well
oh yeah there will be growing pains with parker that is for sure. he does not have the eagles talent or and experienced coach helping him out to give him advice on how to call a game and in game adjustments. he sure does not have a head coach to lean on.First time DC and play caller. I knew there would be growing pains.
