You can't have it both ways people keep saying if you keep changing the defensive coordinators you'll never get the roster right We're making all these moves right now to see if Matt can make this defense better but I don't know if there's any resume that says a name at the top and then these big bold letter says guarantee Super Bowl Show me show me where that is when you're doing a search for a new head coach or a new coaching staff or a new defensive coordinator that says guaranteed blueprint for Super Bowl and then has a list of names for you at the bottom because I think that you're reaching we don't know who that guy is you can't keep making changes without allowing at least Matt the Latitude to get his type suppliers in here it's not his fault he got hired and then wasn't given the roster that he was promised IE Micah Parsons and all the injuries It decimated his team and yes he gets some blame for it i'm not standing up for him I don't care if he gets fired or not but I believe he's getting the short end of the stick he drew the short straw..

That alone tells me he should at least get the benefit of the doubt at least for the next 8 games and then reevaluate but I don't know of any of these alleged guaranteed hires that gets you to a Super Bowl that's hilarious I mean look at all the changes that San Francisco and the Lions have made trying to get it right trying to fix it and they're not in the Super Bowl oh wait a minute you're going to move the goal posts and tell me at least I got to a championship game and then you're going to pull out the 30 year nonsense about the lack of getting past the second round but I already know it's coming because I've been around here a long time and I know you guys you'll move the goal post now you say when we least need a defensive coordinator to get us to a championship game but is that a blueprint show me the list of names that guarantees that and Jerry will hire him..

You need to be Nostradamus though we need a guarantee I want to know what year we're getting to the NFC championship game and what year we're winning the Super Bowl and then show me that higher that guarantees this...

Poor angles, not filling their gaps, getting killed in man coverage, covering grass instead of receivers. This list goes on and on.

Murray, Elam, Bridges, Williams, Fowler and Wilson have been the biggest culprits over and over again.

I don't know what you're talking about we're talking about the Raiders not the Cowboys we're talking about Pete Carroll firing a scapegoat of a special teams coach ,

that's not going to make any difference, If if Chip Kelly got fired that would be a hell of a difference,

He's the bigger problem he's wasting talent on that offense but go ahead have the head coach and ownership fire the special team coach as the scapegoat, is not a flex..

that was my point he had nothing to do with the Cowboys or Sam Williams which by the way has done this for years without our special teams coach mean Fossil was a great special teams coach it's not hard to be a great special teams coach when you have players like that turpin ,Aubrey held a whole entire special teams are really good but they were already here...

That'd be like the Cowboys firing their special teams coach to make the fans feel good but really leaving Matt Eberfluous it wouldn't change a thing...

Hell Bill Belichick look what he did over there with New England now look what he's doing with North Carolina can't even coach a **** college team.. That's why not a single coach or single player guarantees you squat..

No I'm not gonna answer like you want there is no yes and no answer the world is actually way more Gray and what you asked there is no answer I cannot answer that yes or no so you're gonna get my opinion don't come to an open forum and ask something if you want an actual opinion you want a specified answer this isn't reality TV with a script..

I doubt any coach can win with an owner who constantly meddles with the roster. It’s been the same story since the Deion days — players bypassing the coach and going straight to the owner.

Anybody that says they believe they can without seeing the full picture like his own roster fully built to his liking he needs players to make his design work we didn't get to see that yet between injuries and major changes him losing a war daddy like Parsons right before the season even though it probably wouldn't have changed our wins and losses I think his defense would look a little bit better....

So better players will be better in coverage on 3rd and 3 playing 10 yards off the ball?

He's done it before. But like I said before, it can't possibly get worse when you're already last..

You can't be the best last place defense and win.
 
Was it Marcus Spears, Troy Aikman, or both who said last night that any Defensive Coordinator would bomb with the situation he was dealt on this team to start the year. Micah traded. Too many injuries. Never serious attempt to get dominant DT or LB after all these failed years at run defense. Best corners hobbled, and then they lost their best safeties who weren't all stars to begin with. Coach E would have had more luck taking a demotion with a better defense as the Line Coach or something else. Hopefully it's all about to change, and this defense can do the same with Non-Raiders offenses. Everything lined up well. Can't imagine a better opponent after a bye week with new players or returning players at so many positions. Hopefully they can build on it.
