Romo looked good, although he locked on TO and missed a TD to Witten.

I liked what I saw from Jones, he looked quicker to the hole than Barber, and him as a receiver will pay off...we also saw him pick up 6 on 3rd and 1.

Fasano had a good half, although he should have caught the long one from Johnson.

Free looked better than McQuistan, IMO.

Spencer looked pretty good, Ware was very active. We didn't let everything show, but we did flip them and had a couple of stunts and twists that freed people up.

Barber got some yards late against their second and third string that made his half look better than it was...against their starters he looked slow and tentative.

We might need to find a back-up center, Procter needs a lot of work on that shot-gun snap.

All in all, we have to be happy.

We just played the defending Super Bowl Champions out there. And with the starters in, we looked like the better team.

We looked better than the Super Bowl Champs. That's meaningful.

It could have looked ugly, but it didn't. It could have looked a little better too.

But all in all, I think we have to be very happy with how this team looked.

the question now must be

has the Super Bowl Champ's D, who was stellar all postseason, gone back to bad? or is our O pretty good?

I wouldn't go that far but I have liked what I've seen so far tonight. Romo moved the ball well. Just need to capitalize when we get that close to the endzone.

Good observations. Barber needs to lose the hop he's taking right after getting the hand off. Our kickoff coverage hasn't been very good, but Grammatica has looked good.

Winning or losing doesn't matter in preseason, obviously. But I was very happy with our execution. Everything operated smoothly and we didn't have any busted assignments.

I also like that our second and third teams looked clearly superior to theirs with more clean execution. That shows that our coaches are doing a very good job of teaching.

I think we look better than I expected.

We are going to have to do a much better job on kickoffs/kickoff coverage. Way too much room and yards for my liking.

I concur CL...Looks as if we have very fine depth in many areas. I'm impressed w/Moore. The backup OL are looking good.
