But don't worry. The moment Henry gives up another huge play, I will be there to let everyone know about it.

This also goes for Aaron "the smurf" Glenn. [if he makes the team]

Another one of those irrational posters who can't focus on a single topic.

No one is saying Henry is great or that he wont screw up - we are discussing a SINGLE PLAY.

How can guys like you be so irrational as to think that by saying a guy made a good play that we are saying he is a great player who we adore and who never makes mistakes?

Try and grasp what is going on before responding.

Any good play wasn't.

I'm sure your looking forward to Henry giving up a play and it will happen as it does to every CB in this league even Newman has been known to give up plays. I don't consider Henry a star CB as I do Newman but I think Henry does a solid job working opposite of Newman and I feel comfortable that Henry will make some big plays as well. In the meantime after hearing your comments about Henry and seeing your video clips the only thing I have learned about you is you have no clue as to what your even watching, you don't understand zone coverage and the responsibilities of the CB and S and yet you have continue to lay it all on Henry. Do us all a favor and go back to playing your Madden Video game I’m sure you’re a super star in that league.

This is a great comment because I truly believe some of the posters on these threads feel they know the game through video games. I'm not saying that's the case with this guy, but I feel it is with some.

I think some are just unrealistic. Henry will give up some plays but he makes many plays as well be it knocking down a pass in the endzone or coming up with an Int or coming up on the run and making the outstanding open field tackle. I also think some of the things that this guy is putting on Henry was not Henry fault as Henry in many of the clips was playing zone coverage

Sure - that's Henry in a nutshell. Just because he makes a mistake at times doesn't mean he never makes good plays.

It's pretty ridiculous for anyone to suggest that just because Manning's throw was in the absolute ideal spot that Henry didn't make a good play. Hell, if QB's were so infallible that they always threw the ball in the absolute ideal spot then it would be almost impossible for any CB to make plays.

The mark of a good play is simply to put yourself in position to accomplish what you need to and then follow through, which is exactly what Henry did in preventing this TD.

Exactly. I believe Henry is as good of a second corner we have ever had, he is at least as good as Kevin Smith after his achilles injury, And just like Smith he has a guy on the other side that people avoid.

eduncan is wrong, you cannot have a superstar at every position but Henry is very solid.
