Fish: Campo on Hard Knocks problems

I just remember years later on hard knocks pack man dumping water on him. No HC or respected coach would let that happen to them and if it did would cut the player immediately. Can’t believe team even let HBO air that part so that’s another problem with organization

Which is:

Never hire an unqualified Yes Man to be your head coach, simply because he’s the last guy in the room from when your team was actually good.
happens to this day around the league ex. Kitchens in Cle, who this judge guy in NY , dont even know the eagles coaches name..

Really the lesson is don't have the least talented team in the league and be so deep in salary cap hell that you can't even hire a respectable coach. I'm sure Jerry compensated Campo but Campo made a business decision and took one for the team.

actually I think he pulled his shorts down during practice rather than dumping water on him

either way, complete idiocy

Plainly speaking he said it’s good for the organization, good for players, but hard on coaches. Interesting insight for sure if you want to listen the whole clip.

If it's not good for the coaches then it's not good for the players. That's why they're there. To be coached.

It's not good for anything other than marketing the team and destroying the season.

Only a bleephat would follow up no offseason 2020 with Hard Knocks 2021.

Fat Mike gets another mulligan.

Who cares..

We aren’t a legit Super Bowl threat for awhile as long as this Dak contract is hanging over this teams head.

Might as well be entertained with some Hard knocks. That can be our Super Bowl.

A bad team with the NFL what coach failing to lead them in any capacity.....but it's hard knocks fault.

Don’t think it’ll destroy the season but it’s not ideal. I’m honestly not too worried about it I don’t think it makes a huge difference.

Anyone who references the performance of past Hard Knocks teams as a benchmark isn’t telling the full story. Teams who’ve made the playoffs in the last 2 years can say no, teams who get picked to be on the show are usually not teams with high expectations.

There are many other variables involved in a playoff run than a TV show.

Yeah, having a top 7 QB with a much lesser cap charge in 2021 than he had in 2020... that’ll be our death knell!!!!
