In the same lane as his quote last summer about not playing for the money. It is just the love of the game.

Oh, and more money than any player in NFL history.

This team wouldn't look any different even if Dak would have signed a 40m/y contract and you know it. You can't blame the guy for taking it. All the blame goes to the one offering it. Dak just ain't worth it.

But as far as the quote goes... Dak is probably the most tone deaf player I have ever heard giving Interviews. From the "just a bump in the road" thing to the "in my best shape ever" to this... he's either an idiot or truly trolling.

well it was stupid of dak to say this, if he did lol.
no one is going to believe that, and many know that if they push that money into future, it just creates a massive problem when
they get to that future.
I cant see these 2 cheapos spending the 100 mil in cap space for starters, and if they do , will they get the right players??

Fish has been pushing this blow it up thing all year, but they are not blowing anything up, they kept dak.
They may extend MM lol
There is no telling what the jones boys wind up doing, I will just wait and see.

Dak is very unlikable.
You obviously can’t stand him which is why you’re usually the very first one to respond. However, you are slacking. It took you 7 minutes to respond after the thread was started. When you’re on your game it usually takes you no more than a couple of minutes.

Right, and his quote, I don't play football for the money. Never cared for the money and never will. He lies even to himself!
That particular quote, out of anything he has or ever will say, may last the longest with Cowboys fans after his Dallas career ends. It would be unwise of any highly paid professional athlete to say something so out-of-touch with conventional norms.

Heck. Even some professional PICKLEBALL players' salaries are hitting six and seven figures. I doubt anyone playing pickleball for cash is doing it simply for the fun of the game.

/stupid rant

You find it funny that Dak's contract could potentially lead to 4 more seasons like this one?
No, it won't because Dak's contract is going to get redone in order to create lots of salary cap space this upcoming offseason.

he could be copying jerry ???
Jerry does the same thing. he says stupid stuff all the time and expects fans to believe it, and I guess some do.
