BS basically runs the Air Coryell offense. People think this spells a change in the offense for Dak.. LMAO.. he got fired from Seattle for the same reason Dak sucked…. Teams dropped back playing coverage, rushing 4 and it was over.
For the Air Corryell to work, you need a top blocking Oline which gives you time since most routes go deep and take time to develop. Plus, you'd better have receivers who run good routes and some kind of a decent rushing attack to keep LBs and DBs honest. That's where a QB playing under Center and using some play action works, all things the current Cowboys don't use much.

If the Cowboys are going to keep the Air Coryell offensive system, Jerry and Mike should talk to Kurt Warner. He comes from the Mike Martz system which was the Air Coryell philosophy, running deeper than deep comebacks and posts skinnier than the skinny post, stressing defenses both horizontally and vertically... Similar system which Troy Aikman, Norv Turner, Ernie Zampese and the Cowboys ran during the 90s.

Here are the names he lists as possible candidates for OC, Also keep in mind that no matter who is brought in as OC...MM might be the play caller.

Brian Schotty - Already in the building and says he is practically a nephew of MM

Ben Mcadoo - was here last year and again said he is a kind of a nephew of MM

Said when both were out of a Job, MM hired them to the cowboys as analyst consultant work.

Fish says although there is nothing there saying the cowboys would be interested, he is just saying he thinks it might be good idea....

Todd Monken. Currently OC at Georgia.
Schott is the who i have in mind ... experienced ex- OC with West coast terminology,

McCarthy gonna want to start this re-start with a start over to the West Coast offense as he knows it.

- One poster is brought up Tom Clements who was with McCarthy QB coach in GB ... but from i read Clements is still with the Packers

- i heard one person mention Edgar Bennett, ..but he is currently with Josh Daniels and the Radas .

Had to tune-out the "Fish" podcast on grounds of becoming increasingly-difficult to watch. Lately, he's 75% self-promotion, 20% BS, and 5% speculation/insight on anything remotely of interest. The only one worse is algorithm-heavy LawNation, who rambles for a couple of hours each day, being unintelligible most of the time.

I rather hire Greg Roman. Hes available and has a great track record with QB's. He made Lamar Jackson a serviceable QB and changed his scheme 2 fit what he is. He can do the same with Dak.

I'd also love it if they brought in Mike McCoy. He'd be another good option.

I wouldnt give fish a view ever. And for 48 minutes guy is a str8 up JO
He's a Jerry mouthpiece. He's the same reporter that smeared Amari and helped him get run. It was nasty and false. Amari did nuthin wrong while here. The mere fact he defended this made me ill. He had 0 facts t back it ^ either. Just smeared the dude. Unfair.
