I will believe it when i see it. Jerry and his son seem to be to cheap to pay big time free-agents these days. lot's of talk and no action. been that way for going on 4 years now.i want Hardy. but i am not holding my breath.

I'm seeing a probable 6 game suspension next year though...is he worth it, if we only get a little over a half a season next year??
Depends entirely on the contract length, escalators, etc.

If it is just a one year deal, then not worth it. If it is multi year deal with some "prove it' mechanisms, more than worth it.

I doubt he gets six games. His case was thrown out, despite a previous judge's conviction. I suspect he'll appeal any lengthy suspension, the player's union will get behind him and, at maximum, he'll sit out two games.

Yup and also not worrying about Adrian, let someone else take on that money.

For the record, if Dallas loses Hardy, then go get AP

I'm not counting out both. This is the right way to go about it, though, get the much-needed DE first, then IMO secure McClain, then see what happens with Peterson ... and if we can't get anything done, spend a first- or second-round pick on an RB. I'd prefer to have all three positions filled so there isn't a glaring need going into the draft, but Dallas hasn't been willing to overpay so far, so it isn't likely that it can get Peterson for a "bargain" price.

I don't think they would finalize a deal unless they knew what Goodells ruling was going to be. That's why its taken this long.

Lets hope this doesn't end up being Jerry in this scenario.....

On a side note, would this mean that this is Stephen?

I am excited about this (as many are). If we can get him in here, along with RoMac and then get Lee to stay healthy, we could see a significantly better D to go with our high powered O. I also cannot wait to see how DLaw does after a full year of NFL strength and conditioning. Optimistic? Sure beats being pessimistic (especially at this time of year).
