Spencer I agree - we have the relationship, he likes it here, etc. At the least I'm sure he vets his offers against the Dallas FO and lets them have right of first refusal.

Don't go for the pump fake Risen. This is actually part of the plan to move up for Mariota. This will be the final ingredient in the trade proposal. Bradford, Tebow and a 5th round pick in 2017 for the rights to Mariota in the upcoming draft. Chip is a Genius. You can believe that!

a looming suspension shouldn't be a huge issue. In theory, if he's suspended, it is without pay. As far as cap ramifications go, on a 1 year deal, it shouldn't be a breaking point.

If we got any type of compensation pick for Selvie I would be happy. He looked good in 2013 but was below replacement level last year IMO, I really don't see Dallas making an attempt to keep him.

The fact neither guy has signed elsewhere is an indication of the market.
If you live here already, have a chance to play heavy for 4-6 games while Hardy is suspended and don't see any appreciable pay raise anywhere else why not resign here?

Dallas likes cheap. I think they'd lean to a vet for a cheap price for sure.
I expect one of the two back if nothing more than injury protection.
Either guy could get a McFadden deal. 2 years but starting at vet min base and heavily incentivized.

There was some talk that Spencer had a visit planned with some team today lined up, but who knows.

I think we're in on him. Charles Robinson is way off more often then not. Fisher is annoying but he's pretty spot on. I think this gets done soon. Cross your fingers.
