Injury or no Selvie hasn't shown anything in a while, so he would be a vet min kind of guy.
Spencer I agree - we have the relationship, he likes it here, etc. At the least I'm sure he vets his offers against the Dallas FO and lets them have right of first refusal.
Tebow is working out for the Eagles today. Just figured I'd throw that in here.
I can't see why the suspension would be a huge hurdle. Just make a table of reachable incentives based on the number of games played. $X if he's on the game day roster for 12 or more games. $Y for 10 or more games, etc. The real question is the guaranteed money for a one year deal, as it always is, I'm sure.
I saw earlier that Selvie is lining up a visit to the Vikings this week.
If the teams with mega cap space (Raiders, Jags) are out, then I think the Cowboys will sign him. If the Raiders or Jags want a player it's impossible to compete because they can drastically overpay with no consequences.
Could be but I don't buy it.
Dallas got good things from Selvie two years ago then he got hurt.
Spencer was a non-factor for half the year but by the final month he was making plays.
The fact neither guy has signed elsewhere is an indication of the market.
If you live here already, have a chance to play heavy for 4-6 games while Hardy is suspended and don't see any appreciable pay raise anywhere else why not resign here?
Dallas likes cheap. I think they'd lean to a vet for a cheap price for sure.
I expect one of the two back if nothing more than injury protection.
Either guy could get a McFadden deal. 2 years but starting at vet min base and heavily incentivized.

Which side is serious? I think #Cowboys prepared to say an actual DEAL w Hardy is a WAYS off. Stay tuned. @1053thefan
Raiders owner said no.
a looming suspension shouldn't be a huge issue. In theory, if he's suspended, it is without pay. As far as cap ramifications go, on a 1 year deal, it shouldn't be a breaking point.
