Well, on the Redzone, it didn't say they had interest -- it said they were actually beginning negotiations.

Everything points back to that Fisher tweet. It just means that they have exchanged contract terms. If they exchanged contract terms, it is not very interesting. If the HS coach is valid though and he is in Dallas then that means he is in Dallas knowing what the Cowboys are set to offer. That is very interesting.

The fact that he is a high school coach, and not someone one would think would be spreading BS for attention, makes me think that there is something to it. If he is here, our chances of signing him went up immensely.

If he's here I doubt he leaves without a deal. That's usually a pretty good indication of a deal being imminent. I agree that the guy has little reason to lie, but you never know with stuff like this. Hopefully he's being sincere.

Jerry's plane flying anywhere causes the media to go crazy every time. Someone flying the red-eye on a commercial flight might cause less of a scene.
