But that’s exactly what it is. You do a combination of both. This year they were hindered because they didn’t have a first round pick. They could’ve went a long way in fixing that unit had they been able to snag a starter in the first and at least a guy who can contribute in the 2nd. They were set up to do both. They then traded for Robert Quinn, signed Randall Cobb and a few tackles and traded for Martellus Bennett. This was a enough in free agency. They lacked the drafting starters part.Ok thanks for that. So let's completely ignore free agency entirely.
Every successful team has, yes? Please stop because that's not even close to true.
I get what you're saying to a degree, and sure you build your core through the draft, but are they a win now team or no?
You arent getting better defensively by hoping Kinlaw falls to you.
You arent getting better as a defense in 2020 from the draft alone.
If they have no ability one way or the other to add free agents and get better now, then they are rebuilding.
That's Jerry team for you, no man's land.
Either try to win now or rebuild, not some ridiculous in between scheme.
Show me a team that was built on free agency? Maybe I’m misunderstanding your point.
