Fisher: Look for Tyron Smith to play Sunday

Not surprised. With his experience he only benefits from resting during the week. The reps need to be saved for live action.

The subtle note here is that Tyron is having a real hard time getting healthy, and he might already have a Romo-like back to contend with moving forward.

Yeah, I'm a bit concerned with "Tyron Thursday," too. I get letting a stud have his rest every so often, but when it becomes a "thing," it concerns me, too.

Walk me off the ledge @big dog cowboy. Tell me this is normal across the league with elite OL with minor nagging injuries. Sustained off-days.

I don't like the sound of "Tyron Thursday" but perhaps it's due to my Romo ptsd.

Or maybe a good cheese head pounding he can put on some Packer defensive players will work too....

Romo Wednesday, Tyron Thursday, Jerry JWB Friday, well everyday is JWB day...and Jason's day to day...day to day's....
Let's just get to Sunday already.
:D

Assuming with Cleary the backup that Green is out?

Affirmative. Cleary's been practicing in Tyron's place. Otherwise, the alternate prediction says that Free would move to LT, Martin to RT and Looney to RG. Needless to say, against Green Bay, that scenario could possibly spell trouble. I'm hoping Tyron feels better by Sunday and plays. Sounds to me like it might be a game time decision.

This guy is made of glass!!! :p

Bye week couldn't come at a better time! Btw if Tyron was out I wouldn't think twice of letting Romo play!

Hopefully if Cleary has to play they elect to put him at LT instead of shuffling the line.

I'd rather still be great in the interior and still have continuity there.

I agree. Shuffling the entire line could leave it vulnerable to big trouble. In addition to Martin and Free being moved, Looney was mentioned as a replacement for Martin at RG. Crazy.

He has a back injury that is slow to heal especially for a tackle who puts tremendous stress on it every week. I have seen nothing that says it is chronic.
