Basically, Jim Garrett worked his way into the graces of Jerry like a weasel and used that to his advantage. That’s how both John and Jason ended up on the roster in the first place and its why Judd is here.

I call BS. When Jerry gets attached to people, he’s loyal. At the same time, he’s had no problems letting go of people that he doesn’t have any fondness for. He’s also fired Wade mid-season because of Jason and allowed him to basically back-stab Callahan as OC. Jerry even admitted that Jason kept interfering with Callahan. Jerry still doesn’t have Jimmy Johnson in the ROH and Jerry had no problems bouncing Tom Landry.

This is more of a proof that many a people can sucker Jerry. And the Garrett family and Jason in particular are the best at it.

Kinda of reminds about what Mark Cuban said about firing people. He said that it reflects the poor decision he made in hiring the person. Said when he started out he almost had to fire is secretary because she kept on faxing business deals the wrong way.

LOL people keep saying this and is 100% untrue.
Jimmy forced his way out intentionally. He hated Dallas and missed South Florida.

BP was just tired and wanted to go.

Jerry didn't force either guy out.
The guys Jerry did actually fire he feels awful about. Chan Gailey et al.

Jimmy Johnson still isn’t in the ROH, so yes, Jerry is petty and emotionally unstable.

Very touching but a terrible way to operate a business.

Actually it has pros and cons just like everything else in business. Players like Jerry and know he will pay or overpay. Every player in the league knows Jerry flew Gallup to his brothers funeral on his jet at his own expense.

The upside is we never lose inhouse free agents we want unless its a crazy overpayment like DeMarco Murray. The downside is we have to wait more than three days for Garrett to leave.

I'm fine with that tradeoff.

Horse hooey on Jimmy. That was Jerry feeling unloved by the media and making passive aggressive comments that he knew would get back to Jimmy and Jimmy having the integrity to tell him where to stick it. Parcells had enough of Jerry when he brought the TO circus to town.

And it was Troy who told Jerry that Gailey's gimmick offense wasn't going to work....

Or Bill Callahan or Dez.
Can you leave the crack in 2019?
Jerry was the last guy in the organization defending Dez. He fought tooth and nail to keep him. Stephen, Will and Jason were all done with Dez. Jerry waited 90 days to finally release him and both guys were tearing up as it happened.
Jerry loves Dez.

Bill Callahan was and likely is the best OL coach in the league. He was simply not allowed to call plays by JASON.
Dallas forced him to wait a season before he could leave where he landed with a division rival.
Bill has an issue with JASON not Jerry.

How is overpaying for FAs a good trade off? Moreover, a bet a lot of players are still wary of this organization after the treatment Dez got.

There's more to it than what you say. Common knowledge.

In DC, media and radio shows slam Daniel Snyder, who doesn’t have a show like Jerry and Stephen do in Dallas. The media and radio shows in Texas seem to defend Jerry and his lackeys a lot, even in this situation. Jason used to be hyped by them so much at the expense of Wade, it was nauseous. Now everything in that area is about how emotional and sentimental this cluster show is..

Get these bums out of here..

Who did he overpay for? The Crawford extension and somewhat Brandon Carr's contract are the only things you can point to over the last ten years.

And no one but Dez thinks Dez should have been on the roster with a 15MM salary that year.

And by extension the issue is with Jerry, because Garrett is Jerry's boy. And if he loves Dez, he obviously loves whoever hated him more, because Dez was dumped rather unceremoniously and assigned the narrative of beign the problem with the team after the disappointing 2017 season.

Remember when Dez was let go and pre-Cooper in Dallas. Everybody was coming out saying how dysfunction it was. Butler was basically saying Romo was the coach and he never seen such incompetence from a coaching staff before.
