Anyone on here like to fish?

Got any good fishing stories? Whats the biggest fish you have ever caught?

I just got a new reel that im pumped up about. A Abu Garcia Revo S. Anyone know much about them?

8 lb rainbow trout

in SD - I could see it hitting the top of the water - but could not get my fly out to due to the fact I was at the bottom with a bank about 45 degree angle behind me

but finally it out there saw him take then it was about a twenty minute fight

but I had some nice rainbow trout steak after words

only thing I regret is not having him mounted

I really enjoyed fly fishing

an you can't beat trout over an open flame wrap up in foil - with taters an a big slab of butter in its gut - did that many a time when we hike back into the mountains - that was in Wyo up around Big Horn Mtns

I used to love fishing. Havent been in years though. Biggest was a 7 1/2 pound 19 inch long Black bass. Caught on lake Columbia in Arkansas.

not much of a fisher but when i was younger my uncle caught an alligator gar and it was about 4 feet long so to show how big it was he had his daughter(my cousin) lay down next to it to snap the picture and the flash or noise startled it and it lunged for my cousin and so everbody freaked out and she cried and pee'd herself and i laughed for about ten minutes it was a good time.

I love fishing. I can't go as much as I'd like to, but I absolutely love it when I do.

That sounds like the good life.

Biggest fish I ever caught was a 6lb largemouth bass. I've lost some larger that busted my 10lb test line. Once I switched to 20lb they hid...

im living at the beach and actually went out and threw the cast net for a while today trying to catch some bait to fish with but had no luck. doesnt matter cause i never catch **** anyways but yea i do attempt to fish every once in a while.

I **** you not, went on a deep sea fishing day trip one time and they had a contest where everyone threw in a pot and biggest catch got it - nobody caught anything but some guy reeled in a shoe with a small fish in it and won the money.

lol

yea when I moved to Texas had a lake house or a lake trailer on Tawakoni
always want to go over Lake Fork - caught a lot of catfish up there and crappie I mean some big as a frying pan - a lot of good eatin

oh and if anyone get close to Quinlin Tx - they make these things the called armadilllo eggs - I think the are made with catfish meat an some breading an something hot - because you come away from them needing a cold beer

but were I lived we had a bunch of rock quarries that were filled up with water and that where I usually ended up fishing for bass

I'm sure this guy has some great fishing stories checkout these bloopers from his fishing show.

Helped to start a saltwater fishing conservation and improvement non-profit corporation a few years back in Texas that was integral in changing policy as dictated by the fishing public's input on a few key issues.

That count?

I heard people were catching 12-15 lb bass at Lake Fork last few years, I've been wanting to go myself for that reason. Heck now that I think about it I went twice to Lake Texoma and caught 5 & 6 lb stripers with a guide and some friends.

I've also caught some 5 lb cats at other places in the past but to me the fun is when you hook something that fights and jumps out of the water into the air.

I wanna try shark fishing from a jetti. They say it gets really crazy at night on those jettis down in Corpus. Maybe I'll head over to Galveston one weekend since it's closer. Only thing is that shark meat isn't all that or at least what I've eaten.

Anyone hear the unseen narrator? Sounds a lot like the guy from dirty jobs. Pretty sure it is.

I have a camp in the Adirondack Mountains on Otter Lake and fish every weekend from May to September/October. The camp is probably 30 feet from the lake. If I wanted, I could literally throw a line from inside the camp.

The stories are many and one day, I will retire to that place, never to be heard from again.....:)

I caught a Blue Marlin that weighed about 250 pounds. Also about 20-30 Pacific Sailfish that weighed in the 100-120 range. I have also caught several White Marlin and a couple of Atlantic Sailfish in the Gulf of Mexico. When fishing for Marlin, you tend to catch a lot of other fun stuff as well... tuna, wahoo, mahi-mahi, barracuda, shark. Fun stuff.

Ah, guess you answered my question after scrolling down.

I can't eat the fish (allergic to all seafood) but I do enjoy fishing. The biggest fish I ever caught was a 25 pound albacore tuna. I fought him for about 15 minutes. It was awesome. That was on a deep sea fishing trip from H & M Landing in San Diego, CA. 500 bucks for 4 days and 3 nights out on the ocean. All meals provided and the food was great. It was a bargain.
