Fitz and Cards not close... Jerry needs to make a play

Funny the only difference between your post and a Skins fan post is about three months. Ask them how winning Championships in the off season has gone.

Same thing you said last year ...... then you ran away from the forum for 4 months.

Nobody ran away.

I was in a coma.

Right.

I guess Eagle fans come up with mysterious injuries when they lose just like their QB.

I guess so, Nancy Drew.

I could just see McNabb throw an interception and suddenly drop "unconscious" on the field.

How much would Jerry have to pay him?

thats the key. If its a reasonable contract throw them the #28 and smile ear-to-ear.

Maybe the center farted in his face.

Not that he would ever puke over the back-end of his center. Nope - he would never do that.

How about Dallas is able to work out a deal for Fitz and then picks up pacman cheap. Add a backup RB from the draft and the lineup looks good for years to come. Could it be worked out to fit under the cap if 2010 is an uncapped year.

I read on ExtremeSkins they also interested but don't have enough money. Then 1 of their posters said Fitz had put out a list of just a few teams he wanted to play on and Skins weren't one of them. Now the Eagles were on the list but no other teams were mentioned. Maybe I'll do a google search and see if I can come up with such a list.

Fitz would be an absolute MORON to restructure

Basically Fitz is getting paid as much as TO and Moss combined over the next two years. The Cards are truly ********. If they can't work out a restructure or trade for him they might as well release him because they won't be able to franchise him in 2010 assuming there is still a salary cap (he would get about $21 million as his tender).

of all the people to structure Fitz' contract, I would think Bill Bidwell would be the last to let that happen

this is probably why Dennis Green isn't the head coach there anymore

did you see the list? details, man, details:cool:

Football fans need to be careful what they ask for, they just might get it and have it turn out differently than they thought. When you have to pay a player as much money as he is likely to demand, teams can be left holding the bag if he gets seriously injured. The cap hit is the same whether he's playing or not and if he suffers a career-ending injury, his remaining signing bonus is accelerated into the current year - ouch.

It's a gamble but Jerry likes to gamble - it's almost as if he didn't know that gamblers are losers, it's the gambling houses that are making the money, not the longshot players.

I would be shocked if we didn't turn one of those #1 picks into RW or Fitz.

There is no way Jerry is not thinking about doing one of these deals.
