Fitz and Cards not close... Jerry needs to make a play

There is no way Jerry is not thinking about doing one of these deals.

He needs 2 for McFadden. That's why.

You're probably right but it's nice to dream. He would answer a problem very well. But stranger things happen. I just don't want to see Jerry go overboard for any player and I really don't see that happening. He wants to win to badly and one thing everyone should agree on (if they are honest) is Jerry rarely makes the same mistake twice.

I have had a man crush on Fitz since he was drafted and i would love to see him as a cowboy. However, i'm having a hard time figuring out exactly how the Boys can accomodate all the money he has comming to him. I know they will restructure it but can we still afford it?

Honestly i don't think Fitz should restructure his contract he did what he had to do and now its time for him to get paid.

According to the Arizona Republic, the Eagles up'd their offer for Fitz to Lito Sheppard and Reggie Brown. Local sports radio also said it includes a second round pick.

Time for Jerry to step up to the plate and make a better offer.

Would you trade a the higher first rounder for Fitz? That's what I think it will take.

There is no way I would give two 1st rd picks for Fitzgerald ...unless he was willing to take a huge pay cut, and even then I would need them to throw in a 2nd or 3rd rd pick.

I think Fitz is worth the extra pick. I dont think Williams is worth taking a chance at all.

With Lito and freaking Reggie Brown if the rumors are true?

Lito has no trade value after Fat Andy nuetered him in front of the entire NFL. He has 1 year left on his deal and then he is walking and nobody is going to give up anything for him when they can just wait and sign him next year for nothing.

Reggie Brown is a scub and the Cards would be absolutely ******** to even think about swapping Fitz for this piece of roster garbage.

It is going to take high picks for the Eagles to pull this off, 1st round pick at least + 1 or 2 quality players.

You replaced Lito, a very good man-to-man cover CB, with Samuel, a system zone CB, when the Beagles use an aggressive-blitz oriented defense.

Kinda dumb if you ask me, I see this as a downgrade, especially the way Lito always played lights out against the Boyz.

You then released Javon Kearse and Takeo Spikes.

Fat Andy then begged Moss to sign and even offered more money than the Pats because Fat Andy knows your receiving core is garbage.........and Moss flipped him off.

This about sums up your offseason so far......dam, I am impressed

ESPN ticker said that Fitz and Cards are not close in restructuring his deal.

I think Fitz is the best player out of all the other mentioned WR possibilities.

As much as i would love tos ee this happen it's not.. if Fitz goes anywere, it's gonna be the eagles..
