I had Flacco on a list in reply to a thread regarding the top 5 current QBs and was lambasted for it a month ago. Does anyone still think Flacco is just an average run of the mill QB?

Flacco protects the ball. Perhaps he should teach that skill to our 67 million dollar man.
Playoff games:
Flacco: 2-0
Romo: 0-2

Next season Tony Romo can emulate Joe Flacco's style!!! WOO I SMELL ME A SUPER BOWL!! LOL

It's flavor of the day thinking man. Some people do not know football.

This is going to be a REALLY long off season, isn't it? :(

Right now, I take Romo, but not because Flacco is bad, just haven't seen enough to take him over Romo.

Nice to only need 13 points to advance in the playoffs...

I will say I would rather have a QB who protects the ball and a great defense than the opposite. Flacco doesn't make many mistakes. He's also aided by a great defense, something the Cowboys haven't had in years. We'll know in a few years who's better. Romo or Flacco.
Flacco's a rookie, Romo's been in the league 6 years. Looks just the opposite.

How did the Titans turn into a sloppy turnover machine like the Cowboys?

At least, they moved the ball all day with less talent than the Cowboys.

Bro...

You started a thread questioning whether or not Flacco "might be greater than" Romo...did you not expect a tad bit of flak?

There. Fixed it for ya. ;)

Sorry man... you are posting stats and laughing at a rookie that has led his team to his 1st 2 playoff victories = weak... and you look very foolish.

Playoff time - no one cares about stats - just wins. Ask Ben Rothiamburger.

Flacco's played well, but he's not leading that team.

#52 leads that team.

Dieter Brock is better than Romo. He won a playoff game and that's all that matters.

Flacco went huge stretches of this game without making any plays whatsoever. He has a bright future (and present, duh) but chill.

One day, perhaps.

But Baltimore does a terrific job at protectin Flacco with a strong running game and an experienced OC

Garrett needs to learn to do that.
Totally correct. They said during the game that Baltimore had more rushing attempts this season than any other team.
Garrett should be forced to watch the game over and over till he learns that its ok to run the ball after the first quarter of a game;)
Iam impressed with Flacco, but he IS NOT BETTER THAN ROMO! Flacco just has a coach that has a clue:laugh2:

We scored 6 in our last game of the season which, if I do recall, was a playoff atmosphere. Your point?

How many turnovers did Tony have in that game?

How many turnovers did Flacco have today?

I don't necessarily think it. I'm just interested in what others think. One can argue that Flacco is a very good rookie "bus driver".

A guy drives a bus in a safe manner and eludes breaking any laws while another guy drives a bus weaving all over the place hopping curbs and knocking over bus stops along the way.

Which guy would you prefer to have driving your bus?
youre comments before this thread and in it pretty much support you would take flacco

now youre trying to back off it with the i dont necessarily think so after the reaction you got from some fans in here. dont back down from youre opinion, youre bold enough to make a foolish opinion despite flacco obviously being a game manager with upside at
this point. stick with it. and eat it when romo makes you look silly

with that defense and playcalling explain to me how this game would have went any differently with romo at the helm. cant tell me romo wouldnt have been just as efficent with that safe play calling and occasional heaves down field. the one that was caught was up for grabs and should have been easily picked if not for lapse by the titans secondary

now picture flacco trying to run our offense, and do what romo does
