I guaranteed you one thing... Flacco, Ryan, or 60% of the other starting QBs in the league wear their hearts on their sleeves and wouldn't be caught dismissing football as "just another thing" right after one of the most humiliating losses in Cowboys history.

Trust me...that ticked me off as well.

I'll chalk it up to Tony not knowing what to say and being encumbered with pain at the time.

Deep inside, you yourself have to believe, that if it was "just another thing", the guy wouldn't have kept getting up in that Giants game.

Tell me you didn't get fired up seeing him take hit after hit and get back up.

I'll take my lumps with the guy. He'll take us back...I know it.

Yeah.. Flacco had nothing to do with that... Ask our defense.

So it was him running all over the defense at the end of that game...forgot that one.

Flacco doesnt have nearly the talent romo does...But He HAs the skills and brains to not fumble the game away. Not to mention he can take pressure. Not as in evade rushers, but in crunch time he does what he can, He's just average but He doesnt lose the game away. Romo just seems to fold at crunch time..

One day, perhaps.

But Baltimore does a terrific job at protectin Flacco with a strong running game and an experienced OC

Garrett needs to learn to do that.

BINGO!!

Two back to back runs. I didn't see Flacco racking up 160 yards on two carries at the end of the game. I did see him standing in the backfield post-handoff though.

Rhetorical question. Please try again (and be sure to find a sentence where I said I wanted Flacco to QB the Boys). Thanks. Now back to your research..

Rhetorical questions are used to make points, my friend.

I like how he always seems to find the checkdown guy when the pressure is bearing down

Flacco went huge stretches of this game without making any plays whatsoever. He has a bright future (and present, duh) but chill.

And in those "huge stretches... without making any plays" did he cost him team with any INT-like punts that went for 3 or 7 the other way??

We scored 6 in our last game of the season which, if I do recall, was a playoff atmosphere. Your point?

How many turnovers did Tony have in that game?

How many turnovers did Flacco have today?

Good post.

An excellent question...

Anyone who has watched the Ravens two playoff wins can tell you that Flacco's main contribution has been not screwing up. That works for the Ravens because they have a great defense.

We don't.

You:

"A guy drives a bus in a safe manner and eludes breaking any laws while another guy drives a bus weaving all over the place hopping curbs and knocking over bus stops along the way.

Which guy would you prefer to have driving your bus?"

Everything would JUST be fixed if Romo were to stop passing to Witten. TO's always open (and catches everything), ya know.

Flacco would pass to TO. Wouldn't a Flacco to TO TD just be dreamy?

He's a safe bus driver while Romo is a drunk driver. That's all i'm saying. Romo needs to lay off the Jessica juice.

When did this become the "Twilight" Zone?
Right after the Eagles loss. All rational thought left some people.

So you're saying he would be a better QB if he were castrated?

Base that upon some facts please.

I already conceded that he has a bright future. What I appealed for was a sense of perspective. Sooner or later, they'll need more from him than simply "not making mistakes."
