Just an FYI .. Flynn was released because he could not pass a physical and Belichick doesn't rule out bringing him back later:

“We’ll see how it goes,” Belichick said. “I wouldn’t rule it out. We’ve brought back plenty of players who were here, then weren’t here, then came back here. I know he worked hard. It was frustrating he couldn’t get out there, we couldn’t see him out there, so it’s the way it was.”

If Flynn was any good he would not be a FA now. GB- SEA- OAK- BUF- NE ... From 2012 to present those are the teams he sign with.

There are quality backup QBs that bounce around the league quite often. I mean, my goodness people, I know you know this stuff.

We are not discussing Flynn being a freakin' superstar. We are discussing him as a viable backup QB. Someone who has experience coming in for an injured starting QB and showing that he can help win games or make few mistakes that lead to a loss.

Show me another backup QB on the FA market that is better than a healthy Flynn? Show me evidence that Weeden is a more viable option?

Flynn could come here and maybe work into a couple pre-season games. How could anyone want that over a guy like Weeden who has been here long enough to know the system?

Flynn had a good game or two in Green Bay - a team he'd been with for several years before the Seattle/Oakland mess. His best game was against our clueless D. You don't have incompetence of that level every week.

He's the perfect example of why you go with someone who understands your system.

The argument is the fact they are both garbage, lol. It's like trading trash for trash. I hope this team really evaluate their qb depth chart.
