Hate giving up a draft pick for any of these guys to be honest. McCown would probably cost the least in trade but has pretty high salary for a guy you hope never plays. Glennon will cost more trade wise and is a free agent after this year so you are going to have to pay him or let him walk. Not an easy decision. Wonder how much Foles signed for. When I heard KC got in the mix I knew we were screwed there. Very slim pickings left at this point.

KC can have him. I never wanted him in Dallas... and for whatever reason, the team wasn't crazy about him either.

I wanted Foles and Freeney. It has been a bad week for me.
QBs and pass rushers are hot commodities. There where a couple of free agent DEs that we tried to get this summer too, Adrian Clayborn was one. Are the Cowboys just low balling all the FAs? It almost seemed like they really don't want anyone here unless it's supercheap.

Oh well, I guess after we get nobody, Jones & Co will spin that Showers is ready to be QB#2.

I know Foles isn't exactly Aikman, but he was the most experienced QB out there.

Foles has had ONE good year in the NFL, just like Cassel did. I don't know why people think so much of Foles. I'll take Glennon over Foles, but I would not give the farm away for him either.

OXNARD, Calif. -- The Cowboys spent late Tuesday night and most of Wednesday discussing their backup quarterback position in the wake of Kellen Moore's injury.

Moore suffered a fractured right fibula late in team drills Tuesday and was scheduled for surgery Wednesday in Dallas. He's expected to be out for the next three to four months.

The Cowboys haven't decided how they will handle Moore's roster spot, but club officials met again midday Wednesday to go over veteran quarterback options and whether they want to make a trade.

Among the names bandied about were two quarterbacks from Texas: free agent Nick Foles and Josh McCown of the Browns.
