The Wings from DJs in Tucson. They got closed down for serving minors, but those were some of the best damn wings ever in the history of the world.

We used to have a Shakey's Pizza here. It was awesome. They had these fried potato things called Mojos that were terrific. I also miss the Pizza Inns and Godfathers we had here.

I used to love going to Shakey's as a kid. In the mid-late 1970's we had one in my hometown that had a working player piano with scroll-fed music. It was free to use - you just walked up, picked out a scroll, and fed it into the piano. They also had live music from time to time.
Then in the 1980's that location closed & the opened a more commercial restaurant that existed for a few years. I thought they were completely gone, then I saw (and immediately ate at) one in Montego Bay, Jamaica in 1993.
They do still exist - check out www.shakeys.com. It turns out there is one just 88 miles from my house.

One cereal I do miss is Rice Krispie Treats Cereal. They used to be all over but now I think they are very limited in the stores they sell them in.

Hey, they still have Mojos too. But there isn't one anywhere near me. That blows. It would be worth the 88 mile drive for you though.

Arby's 'Super' Roast Beef.
Used to be my fave sandwich when I worked at an Arby's in '88! I helped myself to so many of them (and the curly fries since I usually worked the fryer) it's probably the reason they got rid of me!!!!! :D

I used to love Waffel-Os as a kid. Then again I liked Cookie Crisp too and when I tried that again about 2-3 years ago it was horrible! :laugh2:

Most of the memories in here are better than the "food" itself.
