People say TO destroyed teams in Frisco and Philly... I can buy the Philly part but what did he do in Frisco? Frisco went down the tubes because of management/owner/Marriochi (sp) TO just didnt bother to save it and only made a big stink about being traded to Bmore!!! Yeah TO had his blowups with Asst. coaches got pissed for being disciplined for the "STAR" but he didnt destroy the team single handedly!!!


As for Philly u can blame TO all u want but the real issue is "Pay for Play"!!! when it came down to it TO "played" for his "pay" like most Igg players (who the Iggs low ball)... McD did not! the Iggs hard stance on "pay" divided the locker room more than anything, TO was just a by product, who wouldnt take the company line like other Igg players!


If McD would have earned his "Pay" that Super Bowl he would have had therespect of the entire team on his side including TO... McD choked and TO almost won that game by himself, I would have asked for more money too... so I can get some new shoes after McD threw up Chunky on my SUPER BOWL MVP ones!

Owens' major beef was security. He got injured and realized that he didn't have any security. There was no guarantee he'd ever see any of the big money his contract indicated.

Since the Eagles gave Owens a roster bonus rather than a signing bonus all of the money counted against their cap that year, meaning if they cut him later, there wouldn't be a cap hit.

The only guy that the Eagles pay is McNabb - period.

No, yours is one of those comments. If not for Owens having a great game - and arguably being the best player on the field that day - the Eagles wouldn't have scored much if anything.

As a matter of fact, McNabb was the reason they lost.

Tough to overcome when your QB chokes it up and throws 3 interceptions then tosses his cookies when his team needs him the most.

That was the point being made.

it was a 4 point game. i believe the iggles lost b/c they milked the clock for far too long when they should have been in hurry up mode. not b/c the iggles defense played poorly.
