Why would you apologize for something you didn't do?...

Why would you then apologize again when Sanders is critcizing you on TV and saying it's the wrong thing to do?...

Why wouldn't you defend yourself with "I didn't do it"?...

You guys are really reaching here for these excuses...

Your not kidding. Funny thing is I think the response would be different had the shoe been on the other foot and Hall was the one doing the spitting. TO is not the 1st player ever to do it and when players have done this they have been fined I would expect no less for TO.

Wow, the lengths people are willing to go to too protect Owens.

I am not protecting anyone but everyone assumes it was malicious cause it was TO. Donte Hall is just as much a scumbag but everyone listens to him and doesn't want to think he could be exagerrating at all? Either way even if TO did spit in his face I don't really care, it got in donte's head and then TO proceeded to make him his stepping stone all game long.

Because T.O is a man he can admit when he was wrong and tried to apologize. But that little coward had to go to the media, instead of taking it out on the Field. wah ,wah ,wah, ( in my best Artie Lang impression)

I love this...

TO calls himself a man for apologizing and fans also think he's a man for apologizing...

So what does that make him when he spits in someone's face like a coward?...

It's like the guy who says "I'm a man for taking care of my kids"...

Here's some late breaking news...

That's what's EXPECTED of you...

Including NOT spitting in some guys face...

And you think he's a "man"...

You guys are friggin hilarious...

Watching the replay of the game, it really was amazing how many late hits he put on Owens.

And, yeah, it doesn't surprise me if this DOES happen a lot in the NFL -- a lot more than just the few times it's been publicly accused of players like Romanowski, Taylor and Owens.

But, it doesn't make spitting right. He shouldn't have done it, and deserves a fine. I do think it's being a little overhyped though. But it's TO. It's going to draw attention.

Were those late hits after the spitting incident?

Just wondering....

We say this based off what TO said right after the game, there was no denying what he did. As for Hall I don't care what he is or what he said you don't spit in another players face period and like any other player who has done this in the past TO will and should be fined for these action.

While driving to work today, Duhnam & Miller on The Ticket said that in an interview later on, Owens seemed to back track a little and hint that he may have spit on Hall on accident.

They didnt provide audio, they were just going off of memory but I thought that was interesting.

I hope to be a Psychologist one day and Terrell Owens would be the Super Bowl/Gold Mine as a patient :D .

Most guys in the NFL do think this is no different than a slap in the face. It is a classless act that does not belong in sports and yet the only ones defending this action is the TO fan club but then you guys will excuses him for anything he does and then have the nerve to some how blame the media for talking about it.

hell I don't want them not to fine him but this crap is getting tired and overblown. It happened TO apoligized without even telling what happened and now everyone wants to act like he is the devil. Fine him sure but he isn't the friggin second coming of satan cause he spit on some guy. Let alone some guy that is a blowhard and a whiner.

the way peopel say he admitted it is kinda misleading the guy never said " I spit in his face" he said he apoligizes etc etc but never came out and said yes I spit in his face. There is wiggle room for interpretation there, I have spit in people's faces before on accident and apoligised. I am not saying thats what happened but there is too much room for personal opinions in the whole thing.
He was asked a direct question about the allegation and apologized.

That doesn't sound like any kind of denial to me.

If Glenn came out and said he did it, and Make no mistake, Owens admitted he did, no matter how anyone slices and dices it, I would believe Hall.

Why is it so hard for people to understand that this is not acceptable behavior? Does it go on, sure it does, does it mean it is right to do it, nope.

I think this guy is going to do something really good and really stupid in the Playoffs, you heard here first :p: .

Give him a chance to redeem himself, Legends are made in the playoffs not the regular season, remember that,

I still love Hollywood Henderson ( and he was a head case. )

Given time to think about the fine I'm sure TO is regretting making his initial statement. I'm thrilled with the game he had against Alt I think he did a great job in that game but there is no way anyone can or should defend this type of act by TO. I don't want him suspended for this because no other players have been I do think he deserves the fine like any other player would be.

ok lets say I was talking to you and spit on you, someone asked me if I spit on you and I apoligised for it. If it wasn't something that mattered in the grand scheme of things why would I spend an hour defending or denying it?I would say I did it and apoligise for it. TO isn't exactly good at communicating his thoughts in words. I am not taking up for him at all, it was a scumbag thing to do but no one knows what happened but those two guys.

You're not getting it...

TO ADMITTED he spat in Hall's face...

There's NO ambiguity or uncertainty here...

There are no accusations of lies, even from TO or his PR people or his agent...

And if Glenn did it AND admitted it like TO did, we would be saying the same exact thing but probably MORE surprised since Glenn isn't the friggin drama king that TO is...

I've never heard of non malicious spitting in someone's face.

I've heard of spit flying accidentally. That isn't what TO apologized for.
