Mickey works for the Cowboys organization doesn't he?
So I can see why he doesn't want this to be made a big deal. I mean, we could possibly lose TO to suspension, particularly with the Eagles coming to town.
No, Mickey doesn't have an agenda in this.
Seriously, though.
So what if it happens all the time. It's still disgusting and wrong.
Having said that, the suspension talks are ridiculous.
The league doesn't even have tape on the incident, and commentators like James Hasty, Skip Bayless and others are saying TO should be suspended.
I won't be upset if he is, seeing how I was never really a big TO supporter.
But looking at this objectively as I can, you shouldn't treat him any differently than other "spitters," especially when there's no evidence to back up Hall's statement.
And even though TO said he did it, he's now saying it was a Bill Cowher situation. Even if I don't believe him, without proof, it's TO's word against Hall's and at least what TO has going for him is he admitted it. So the burden of proof on how "severe" the spitting incident was rests with Hall and the league.
