Sad but true. Cook is energetic, but says nothing funny. It's like watching a clown that wants to be more than a clown but just can't do it.

I tend to agree with you to a large extent but you can still find a few out there. If you haven't seen him yet i recommend checking out Eddie Izzard, a brilliant British comedian. You can rent his stand up at video stores, try 'Dress to Kill', i think it's one of his best. For someone completely different a little and vulgar but very smart, Kat Williams is also good.

I'm 21, and would rather listen to the Kings of Comedy, Richard Pryor, and George Carlin - than anyone that is telling 'jokes' today.

I feel the same way. When he first started, Dane cook was really funny, now he isn't at all. If you have to resort to obscene jokes and constant cursing than you should just give it up.
