Any distraction is still distraction. Any difference is too much difference.

The difference between champion and loser is razor thin.

How is it any more of a distraction than the constant cameras and media now? They should be practicing on a secluded field with no fans, media, interviews or cameras at all? If everything wasn't filmed and covered already then yeah it would be a distraction, but not the way its set up now.

It's a distraction because the players watch the damn show and they play to the cameras for it. Why is it so important to you? Just enjoy the season.

I'd like to see hard knocks do a division every year. NFC East, AFC East, ect..

I personally think it's some of the best stuff on TV. The behind the scenes looks you get at the players, coaches, downtime. The entire show just makes for excellent TV.

The last time the team was on Hardknocks left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouth, but I think that had more to do with who was in charge at that time. With more veteran leaders and a very good coaching staff I don't think it would be a distraction. At this point the guys are having practices filmed and media around constantly so it shouldn't be much worse. Am I the only one who would be for a return to Hardknocks?

100% against.

Every team that has appeared on this show with the exception of the 2013 Bengals has failed to meet expectations and been mediocre to abysmal during the season.

I would rather the Cowboys avoid it. Dallas gets enough media coverage without the distractions of hard knocks

The only thing hard knocks offers that DC.com doesn't is fancy dramatic music and cursing. If you watch the videos posted on the site you know it's far more informative and less dramatic than hard knocks coverage. Is it cool to see some of the coach/player interactions you wouldn't otherwise see that hard knocks catches? Sure. Is it worth a movie style TV crew parading around irritating the heck out of Jason and co? No.

For...this is the only time they interact with the fans at training camp.

I like what the Panthers are doing. They have their own training camp Hard Knocks style show. They can control the end product. I think something like that would be better for the fans and the Cowboys.

That sounds like propaganda to me. Better for the team but not the fans.

Right now? NO!

After the "Romo Years" yeah...
No problem with it when we are in rebuild mode and we can get an even closer look at the rebuild mode

Maybe so. If it had any effect with Wade it was his coaching style. He was far too lax with the team and was losing the locker room. I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable doing it again without a coach I felt had complete control of the team. If Belichek, Coughlin or Tomlin teams were on the show I don't think it would be an issue whatsoever. If a coach like Andy Reid was on the show I would be worried.

The Campo year was just another Campo year. Looking back, any expectations for that season were just wishful thinking.

I haven't watched Hard Knocks in awhile but it seems like most of the teams that have appeared on it went on to have disappointing seasons. Not saying it's because of being on the show but who knows. I just think having camera's follow players around can be a distraction. One of the problems I believe the Cowboys have had during their down years is not being able to maintain their focus.

No. We have enough distractions.

Why would it create any more distractions. I don't get that argument against the show. There are a few more cameras. That's it. When there are already 5 cameras every where you go, a few more isn't going to change anything at all.
