Jerry didn't say he would be ready by week 2.

"He's progressed at a surprisingly fast pace. I would say not Week 1, but there's a possibility that any time after that he could feel good enough about his repairs."

So he COULD feel good enough about his repairs that he COULD play ANYTIME after week one. Anytime meaning week 2 or 16.
