For the select few who think Romo is a better option

What exactly would we be doing better in if Romo were to come back?

2015 Romo stats if 6 games played
TD 7
INT 11
Fumbles lost 2
Rush TD 0

2016 Dak stats 6 games
TD 7
INT 1
Fumbles lost 2
Rush TD 3

Again, I can dive much deeper into the stats if you guys want me to. Before anyone makes excuses, realize both sides can make TONS of excuses.

Also, keep in mind Romo is now MUCH older in terms of NFL lifespan, more wrinkled, slower, etc, etc, etc...

Is this supposed to mean something since you keep saying it like a mental patient?
Anyone with an intelligent response? Again, I'd like to know exactly what we would be doing better.

In my opinion, we would be 6-0. We would have beaten the NYG

How should one "intelligently" respond to such a "intelligent" comment regarding wrinkled? There is not a response that's as dumb as the originals statement.

The last time Romo had a god-tier OL and run game, he also started 5-1 in his first 6 games. I'm guessing he'd be doing basically the same thing now if he was healthy.

Of course his health can't be taken for granted at this point, which is the actually serious argument against his being the starter again.

Well in my opinion they would be no better than 3-3. Romo would have blown at least 2 games with ints. Missing Smith and Dez would have impacted Romo much more than it did Dak.

I think we've seen enough stats delving. Thanks for the take. I think most of us really do appreciate that we've got two good QBs right now and don't really need to slander either of them.

Romo may or not be 5-1.
I would none the less take my chances with either QB.
The line, the running game, and the D are much better than anyone thought it would be back in pre season.

And FYI as far as the D is concerned it's more than T O P.

The last couple of games the O has lost that.

The offense at the end of 2014 was as unstoppable as I have seen in DAL in a long time

Elliott is even better than DMurray and Beasley has found his inner Welker

I am dying to see Romo with these weapons at his disposal

ps - I love Dak and think he is the absolute future but Romo can still take us higher right now

Dak is running the simplest offense in the NFL, and he hasn't had to win a game yet from the passing game.

He's doing well, but let's see if he can Romo when he has to Romo.

I wouldn't mind seeing what Romo can do with this current offense either. I just don't think it should happen until Dak loses another game. If he doesn't lose another game this year, we win the super bowl. I say let it go until he loses.

Huh? The schedule has been really soft and the defense has probably been better than any defense in Romo's career outside of probably 2009. If Romo was the QB, I'd be surprised if Dallas was worse than 5-1. I'd expect them to be 6-0 with how well the rest of the team has been playing and the opponents Dallas has faced.

Yes he has and lost. One more game like the opener to NY and we'll bench him.
